Within the top rectangle are three red appliqué circles; in the centre is writing in Chinese characters; in the bottom rectangles are floral, frog and crab motifs. Bolster cover with square green ends connected by red fabric roll. The fabric roll has an opening in the top for bolster insertion. The square ends are covered with green damask silk containing a floral motif and an embroidered red square. The red square has floral, coin, lotus, bat, fruit and swastika motifs and sequins.

Head Cloth831/2 a

Head cloth composed of four long strips of leaf-patterned damask fabric sewn together to form a rectangle. The fabric is dyed with bands of lighter and darker purple bands and long thin lines of light purple run perpendicular to these. These bands alternate with thinner bands of dark purple, and the ends are unfinished.

Large masked wooden figure sitting on a stool. Dark wood with white paint only on face section. Protruding nose, elongated and covered in white shells extending down and attached to the chest area. Mask is fringed by long black feathers. Eyes are white circular cut shells. On figure's back and buttock area are pink stripes, also found on stool. Figure is represented naked and chest and genital areas are exposed. Tied woven cord or anklets at knee area.
