This Kachina is one of a group that was made by commission and has not been clearly identified. He wears the usual dance skirt, has painted dance shoes, and a fur ruff around his neck with a feathered headdress. His snout is in the shape of a wolf or coyote showing teeth along the edges, and his eyes protrude in balls. CONDITION: Proper left arm has been broken and repaired at forearm. Proper right arm has been broken and repaired at elbow. Feathers show insect damage.

Made entirely from trade materials, these distinctive cloth pouches were accessories for ceremonial clothing. They were called octopus bags because of their tentacle-like fringes. Some of the Tlingit designs may have been influenced by proximity to the Athabascan groups to the east. The reverse of the bag is plain.The pouch has four double fringe "arms" and a black wool strap.

This cradleboard shows a mixture of Plains and Plateau style attributes.

Small hide pouch with beaded bear claw design on one side and different design on reverse that has a puffy from with three triangles arranged aroud the outer rim.

Fragment, missing the ends. Was woven as a headband.Might not be Plains but Woodlands.
