Square, textile consisting of a cream fabric multi-coloured embroidery. Hemmed edges have a dark blue zigzag pattern; border has key a design. The central motif is four men carrying a large red chair; shou symbols.

White pants with indigo embroidery. The pants have a wide waistband with four fabric loops. The pant legs are pleated into the waistband and the legs flare outwards. The upper inseams have a curved cutout, finished with blue bias binding. Each leg has embroidered butterfly and floral motifs. The inside is unlined.

Coiled burden basket with bifurcated stitches on a bundle foundation. Basket is narrow at base, gradually widening to top opening. Alternating imbricated pattern of grass ? and cherry bark. Interior is stained. One side has a notch cut away from the top edge (central). There are three pieces of cotton cord tied through the basket at one end, and on either side near the same end.

Blue bib with printed design. The bib is diamond shaped with a top black square and two white ties. There are also white ties attached to each side of the bib. In the centre is a large white character within a circle on blue ground. Adjacent to the circle are pictures of an axe, cat, top and kite. The back is lined with white flannelette.

Cotton and silk, bonnet-like hat or cap in a square shape. There are two openings; one lined with red cotton and the other with red silk. Attached are two pink, fabric ties. The hat is decorated with patches of fabric in pink, blue, turquoise, grey, green and fuchsia. The patches are undecorated, patterned with flowers or glittered. There are three star shaped bows in pink, white and red. The inside is lined with cream fabric.

Rectangular wooden loom. Centre section has thirty-seven slats, each with a hole at mid-section. Three slats are wrapped with paper. Slatted section is nailed at top and bottom into a three-piece holding frame. Long string, looped and knotted from either end with a loop tied at centre. Short string loops around frame and through slats in centre.

Carved dark brown wood shaped like elongated pear in transverse cross section. Wider end hollowed to form a bowl-like depression. Inserted vertically through narrow end is a wheel with a cleft deep cut around its perimeter, .9 cm. from each side. Wheel mounted on brass axle with brass handle projecting 4.3 cm. from one side. Traces of thread in cleft. Hole lined with white glass tube bored through from wheel to inside bowl with similar hole opposite from inside to outside of bowl. Around outside of bowl are carved dragon and cloud shapes.

Ikat-dyed design on fine hand woven blue cotton. Weft ikat dyes create objects of red and green, softly outlined on white on a black ground in three broad bands: (a) two bands of architectural structures, (b) central band of human and tree figures. Other bands of blue and white; checkered green, black and white outlined in red; checkered yellow and purple; single band of blue with white geometric designs, run between three broad bands above. A vertical leafy runner motif woven in white threads dominates upper field. Lengthwise border stripes are yellow and white on blue. Un-numbered end has broad redish-purple band outlined in white, dark blue and yellow. Numbered corner has paper label: 'NO. Ikat dyed design on fine woven black cotton. Two bands at each end display weft ikat dyed geometric motif. These are offset by solid bands of red or green and a multistrand cotton in red, white, and yellow is interwoven in a checkered design. A tiny motif in white or red is embroidered at wide intervals on centre field. Ends have two rows of only warp threads.

Large rectangular piece of thin, muslin-like, tie-dyed cotton. Fabric has been folded in four and entirely covered with closely spaced, knot-like resist ties that penetrate all four layers of folded cotton, giving the material a puckered appearance. The outer border of the fabric has been dyed orange, while the rectangular centre is a deep red. Where resist ties have come undone at one end, a minute dotted motif of white, yellow, and green circles surrounding tiny red or orange centres emerges.
