Coca Bag3486/70

Coca leaf bag (chuspa) with a single pocket woven into one face, a woven carrying strap, woven tubular edgings (ribetes) covering seams and edges, and a sewn-on edging of wrapped threads along the lower edge. Three pairs of pompoms made of wrapped threads also adorn the lower edge. Horses with flags and llamas repeat on the front face.

Coca Bag3486/60

Coca leaf bag (chuspa) with two small pockets woven into one face, a woven carrying strap, and decorative pompoms. Diamond-shaped motifs in off-white against a red background cover the front of the bag, continuing into the vertical bands at the centre in burgundy, vibrant orange, and green. The patterning on the bands is continued along the two pockets on the front that are finished with yellow edging and bundles of small pompoms on thread-wrapped stems attached to the bottom. Larger versions of the pompoms are attached on the bottom corners and at the centre of the bottom of the bag. The back of the bag is covered in horizontal and vertical stripes in red, burgundy, orange, green, and yellow, separated by thin off-white stripes, with a horizontal band across the top with a vine motif. The woven edging (ribetes) on the side seams of the bag features a diamond motif in green and off-white against an orange background. The carrying strap has a zigzag and dot motif in off-white against a green, orange, and burgundy.

Woven belt (chumpy) in cotton yarn with unbraided fringe ends. The belt is decorated with navy blue diagonal or point shapes against a background of thin vertical stripes in alternating navy blue and off-white. The design is bordered by a thin horizontal stripe in navy blue and off-white across the top and bottom edges.

Dress3596/1

Long-sleeved woman's dress with a gathered skirt. Dress closes at neck with four silver buttons extending down bodice to waist. Front of dress consists of a panel with hemmed sides; stitching is done in a wavy line. Bottom edge of panel, along waistline, is decorated with a band of alternating circular and triangular beads; large silver button in centre. Band, with similar wavy stitching, circles front and sides of dress; back of dress, where gathered skirt secures to bodice, is exposed. Dress cuffs are trimmed with light pink cloth with blue flowers. Dress is red with bunches of pink and white flowers throughout; flowers have green-blue leaves and long stems.

Long-sleeved tunic. Standing collar with two buttons. Shirt flares out with two side slits - one on each side. Chest pocket on left side of chest. Cape in a shiny bright blue fabric with small silver ovoid pattern all over. Semi-circular with triangle where the cape is sewn at chest. Five ties or flaps that hang down from the bottom edge, and two more ties where it closes at chest. Interior lined with a light green.
