This poncho consists of two large rectangles of machine-processed, black felted wool that have been sewn together with black thread along one edge, with a gap left for the neck. There is a multi-coloured, embroidered stripe that runs along the edge of the neck, shoulders, and bottom of the poncho. This embroidered stripe has been created with very even, tight stitching, which suggests that it was created with a sewing machine. The bottom edge displays an interlocking diamond pattern in white that is bordered with lines of plain stitching. This is followed by single, parallel lines of red stitching, green stitching, and yellow stitching. The neck opening and the shoulders are embroidered with a similar pattern that consists of plain yellow/green/red lines, followed by interlocking white diamonds, and completed with plain red/green/yellow lines.
