Belt2813/29

Narrow belt with a white base. One side displays a pattern woven in red and the other side displays a pattern woven in blue and black. The top edge is comprised of alternating rows of white, green, red, and green yarn. The bottom edge is comprised of alternating rows of white, black, red, and black yarn. The pattern down the centre of the belt is composed of vertical stripes, alternating solid red with narrow lines of white, red, white, red, white. The reverse side is the same down the middle but with a blue and black colour scheme instead of red and white. The belt has a fringe on one end.

Belt2813/28

The belt has a white base colour that has been decorated with figures and geometric patterns. The edges display alternating orange, red, orange stripes. The front side of the belt contains two bird images and two abstract symbols in red. The back of the belt is mostly white, but it does show the mirror images of the patterns and figures woven into the front of the belt. There is a twisted fringe on one end of the belt.

Hair Tie2813/27

Tightly woven hair tie with unequal length fringe at both ends. Yellow-white base colour with horizontal stripes running length of tie. Thin bordering stripes in dark blue and red, followed by a row of green dots interspersed with white, then three thin lines of yellow alternating with two rows in a pattern of red and blue short diagonal lines.

Belt2813/26

Long tightly woven belt with braided finge at each end. Base colour is greyish white, bordered with horizontal stripes of green and purple, followed by a row of black and white offset triangles, then green, dark yellow and black stripes. Centre of belt has animal imagery woven in purple, interspersed with sections of abstract design; some of the animals appear to be deer, llamas, rabbits and birds. Centre of images has a thin green stripe running the full length of the belt.

A tightly woven fiesta shawl, primarily white cotton. Stylized plants, birds, dogs, and geometric patterns have been embroidered on the ends with light purple, pink-red, and light green wool yarn. Two ends of the shawl have been finished with a twisted yellow-white cotton fringe. The fringe has been decorated with pink-red and light green wool tassels.

Colourful small woven textile with long fringes at each end. Made of strands of purple, orange, pink, green, yellow, red, white and turquoise yarn woven into solid stripes, embellished with a central panel of embroidered figures and motifs in the same colours. Large cross-hatches, stitched in white thread, reinforce the ends near the fringe.

Embroidered Cloth2833/1

Rectangular piece of woven off-white cloth with red and purple embroidered decoration. Made up of two panels, handstitched in red up a centre seam, joined so that the two identical embroidered designs create one central rectangular depiction of two figures surrounded by birds. There is a small embroidered red bird in each corner of the cloth and the top edge has a red handstitched zigzag hem.
