Design consists primarily of alternating horizontal bands of white and orange chevron patterning with borders running along both lengthwise edges. One border is thin, with orange thread creating a simple diamond-shaped pattern; the other border is wide, with more elaborate diamond-shaped patterning in white, orange and green thread.

Seal mask with a rounded head and black rubberized cotton head covering attached with nails at the top, back and underside of the mask. The mask is painted black with white lines delineating the eyebrows and eye sockets, grey around the eyes, red nostrils and lips, as well as red and blue design elements beside the corners of the mouth.

Yellow hood with embroidery. The hood is sewn down the centre back and curves to a point. There are two ribbon ties sewn below the facial opening. On each side is a purple floral motif with trailing ribbon and crescent shapes. Around the outer edge are black squares with a floral motif. The inner lining is white cotton.

Two square badges (part a-b) with embroidered designs. The design has two large lotus in pink and turquoise on black ground, above wave and mountain motifs in gold, pink, orange and green. The badges are edged with tin reflectors and white rabbit fur. The back lining is white cotton with eight metal snap closures around the edges. There is a purple stamp, black ink and pencil on the back of each badge.
