Long, rectangular textile of thin, tie-dyed cotton. The outer border of the fabric has been dyed red, while the rectangular centre is a deep blue. Both the border and the centre panel are covered in geometric and curvilinear patterns in white and yellow; patterns are comprised of small, yellow and white, square, outline-like shapes, with the centres showing the ground colour. Circular areas of red dye evenly spaced throughout the blue centre also feature designs with small white squares.

Long, narrow gray-brown bag. The bag is made of machine-made cotton fabric and hand-stitched on two sides with an opening at one end. There is a flour company label on inside and a Cantonese opera company label on outside in Chinese characters.

A book (part a) and a feather (part b). The book (part a) has a brown cover and a title of 'W'iigyet's Journey' in black on the front. The pages are white with black lettering and artwork in red and black. A few pages have 'pop-up' artwork. Sections include the following: 'Introduction', 'W'ii Gyet's First Home', 'Feast of the Sun for The Creatures of the Forest', and 'Acknowledgements'. One piece black skeleton costume (part a). The complete skeletal frame is painted on the front and back in white. The costume covers the head, arms, hands, and legs. There are slits for the eyes, nose and mouth on the front and back. There is a centre front opening with three ties. N1.856 b-c are costume slippers that are worn over shoes to complete the costume.
