Long, wool, red, women’s belt with black and white horizontal stripes and nineteen multi-coloured vertical brocaded bands in geometric patterns of Xs, diamonds, chevrons and diagonal lines. Skirt2535/4

Skirt made of three panels of heavy white cotton fabric. The skirt is open at the back, where the left panel overlaps the right. The skirt panels are pleated and inserted into a band of white cotton. The upper edge of the band is scalloped with the points of the scallops meeting the ends of two shoulder straps of the same material. A facing covers the upper edges of the pleats on the inside. The band opens at the front and the front seam is left unstitched near the top. Skirt is made to be worn under a jacket (2535/5).

Man’s jacket of fine white cotton fabric lined with white cotton gauze. Jacket is waist-length and flares slightly from the top. The centre front opening has inset panels on both sides that overlap when the garment is worn. The V neckline is edged on the outside and inside with facings. The facing has a rounded lower corner on the left side and a square corner on the right with a pointed edge project beyond the inside edge of the jacket. Centred on the end of the left facing is a long, wide ribbon tie made of the same fabric, with a corresponding tie sewn to the mid-point of the jacket on the right. The V neck is finished with a white narrow white cotton collar or facing. There is a centre back seam. The long sleeves are set in with a straight seam and a convex curve on the lower edge, narrowing to the wrist. The inner lining is white cotton. Jacket made to be worn with pants and coat (2535/1-2).

Man's yellow-white hat with three black, circular and patterned bands and a black edged brim. Around the top of the hat are black and pink ribbons as well as a pink and blue twisted string. The ribbons and string are stitched on with red, pink and blue thread and the ends of the black ribbon are stitched in red thread. Both ribbons and string have both of their ends trailing from the back of the hat.
