Cloth shows a young farm girl with farm implements, house and two Japanese characters overhead.

Elongated rectangular shawl made from white mesh-weave fabric. Hand-rolled edge with designs executed with small pieces of metal folded over mesh threads. Narrow chevron border along sides, with wider geometrical borders along the ends. Elaborate geometrical patterns in the centre and a simple overall geometric design.

A stiff tubular hemmed under skirt of netting. Shaped at the waist by darts with the sections joined by off-white silk(?) ribbon, which secures as a waist band that has a circular shiny cream-coloured button with seven pairs of metal hooks with eyes partway down along one side. Off white silk(?) ribbon also secures the hem.

A long brown vest made of synthetic fur. Sleeveless and collarless. Edges are bound on the inside. Five pairs of button holes along each front side.

Woven fabric sewn into a skirt-like tube. All-over geometric pattern with diamond-shaped motifs in red, green, blue and yellow-brown on a black ground. Slim bands of red at both ends with an additional thick band of orange material sewn onto one end.

Green belt with red band down centre, of white geometric shapes and birds, purple strip on each side. Light pink narrow band near each selvedge, with green and dark red squares. Fringe on one side of belt. String attached to each end.

Unfinished panel with embroidery. The open weave cream fabric has three finished edges and one selvage edge. There is a rectangular section of embroidered garden scenes with prunus, lotus and crane motifs.

Red belt with central design of animals, birds, symbols, and buildings along central band with green strip through middle. Two thin strips on each side, altenating in pink and green, with white squares, and band borders each edge in red and green with white geometric designs. Braided fringe at one end, connected to single long braided then woven tie in same colour and motifs as borders on edge of belt.

Red scarf, with mutlicoloured stripes in green, yellow, blue, white, pink, with two bands of white with geometric shapes. Fringe on ends.

Shawl woven of off-white cotton(?) with a grid pattern in black and two bands composed of multicoloured stripes at each end. The shawl is finished with a black and off-white fringe.
