Textile composed of red cotton with black stripes embroidered with a floral pattern in multicoloured wool on a burgundy wool ground. A band of burgundy silk(?) embroidery with perpendicular multicoloured bands crosses the embroidered wool area parallel to the stripes on the cotton. There is a burgundy wool tassel at each corner.

Pants1300/1 a-b

Long, cotton pants (parts a) decorated with alternating bands of purple, red, green and blue diagonal checks and purple, green and blue y-shapes on a pink ground. The bands run horizontally on a cream and orange and red vertically striped ground. The top is raw. Over the pants are black chaps (part b) that wrap around the waist and through the legs and are held together by two sets of four buttons. The side panels are triangular in shape and hang down the outer leg.

Valance1000/2

White valance with dark blue embroidery. The valance has five large squares and a border around three sides. The border includes triangular corners and two bands, one thick and one thin. The bands and corners have pictorial scenes with human figures, bridge, floral, animal and bird motifs. The large squares have human figures, floral, bird, dragon, swastika, wave and vase motifs. At both ends is a figure upon an animal. The horizontal edges are selvage; the vertical edges are hemmed.

Valance1000/1

White valance with dark blue embroidery. The valance has five large roundels and a border around three sides. The outer roundels are identical with fish and floral motifs. The inner left roundel has stag and floral motifs. The inner right has phoenix and floral motifs. The centre roundel has fish, phoenix, stag, vase, floral, frog and pine motifs. In between the roundels are vase, floral and fan motifs. The border has motifs, thin floral band and triangular corners. The top edge is selvage; the other edges are hemmed.

Wrapping Cloth811/13

Small embroidered square textile, made from white cotton textile, with multicoloured motifs worked in counted thread embroidery. The design field is divided into quadrants, each bearing a large, stylized floral motif; these motifs are identical in form but are varied in colours; two are red and blue, two are green and purple. Various smaller motifs are used to embellish the borders and the bars that separate the quadrants. A narrow hem on all four sides is finished with a zigzag stitch. A thin twisted fibre cord is attached to one corner. The textile is reversible; the two sides are almost identical.
