Blue damask silk leggings (part a-b). The leggings are rectangular with one end curved inwards and orange ties. The border above the hem has orchid, chrysanthemum and lotus motifs on cream ground. The border is edged with a black band and floral trim. The damask is woven containing a cloud motif. The inside lining is orange cotton.

Small light brown damask pants with red cotton waistband. The pant legs angled sharply towards the waistband and the centre crotch seam is open on one side. The bottom of the pant legs have a black border with orange floral trim. The damask is woven containing a bat and ji (luck) symbol motif. The inner lining is pink cotton.

Small blue silk tunic. The tunic has a round neck, wide sleeves and side opening with brass frog closures. Around the neck, side opening and cuffs is a black border with bat, peony and endless knot motifs in blue and white, edged with yellow floral trim. The inside is unlined.

Rectangular textile with dyed designs in off-white and dark blue. In the centre within a circle is a Chinese character and bat motif, surrounded by a meander border. Outwards from the centre, the next circle has a butterfly motif. The circle after has tiger, crane, stag, bat and floral motifs. The following square has monkey and pine motifs. The last square has human figures, dragon, bat, fan, scroll, floral and butterfly motifs. The central dark blue panel is surrounded by a wide light blue border. The back is unlined.

Blouse or huipil consisting of two rectangular, cotton, woven pieces hand sewn together using an overcast stitch of purple thread. The panels are decorated in bands with a chevron, zigzag, triangular and lozenge patterns in red, green, grey, dark blue and yellow on a blue ground. The sides of the huipil are sewn. The middle has a vertical slit opening and there are two small openings on the sides. The back edge is raw.

Under Skirt376/3

White cotton under skirt (or slip) with floral eyelet border at hem. The petticoat skirt is pleated into the top band with wide pleats all facing in one direction. The band and top of skirt open at the front but have no fasteners. The upper edge of the band curves forming wide straps and round armholes. The edges are finished with white cotton trim with small scalloped edges.
