Rectangular, brocade textile of red fabric with black detailing. Selvage on one side and hemmed on the other in joo-i design; the ends are raw. Three patterned bands run along the hem. The first band consists of a stylized pondweed, lotus and waves. The second band has a key and floral pattern, while the third band is wider than others and has a diaper pattern with flowered diamonds.

Plain white textile with black embroidery; eighteen motifs of lotus, pear and a stylized flower. Motifs are arranged in rows of three alternating with rows of two with a butterfly at each end. Selvages, raw ends.

Skirt made of red fabric and gathered at the waist with brilliant yellow piping at the hem and a multicoloured striped band for a waistband. There is an opening at the top of one seam with ties extending from the waistband. Two horizontal pleats 18 cm above the hem.

Bag-like basket which has been folded flat; checker weave bottom; top rim folded over with green string tied on either side.

Woven belt with long twisted and knotted fringe at either end. The belt has a centre band of red with white geometric designs. The central band is bordered by a green and a black band on each side.

Fine hand-woven shawl of silk and cotton fibres. Natural colour. Raw silk slub visible as dark specks throughout. Narrow end bands as borders are in lighter shade and may be cotton threads. Marked with stamp '67' plus a few illegible letters.

The embroidery is arranged in several bands, covering half the fragment. The first band has sequences of lotus flowers with projecting leaves growing from triangle, flanked by smaller flowers separated by trifurcated pondweed stem. The second band has two solid lines, rinceau edging, lotus motifs. The third band is wider than others with a lotus diaper pattern. The fourth band has geometric flower rinceau, curved flower and leaf rinceau. The inside is unlined.

Grey-white Plain cover embroidered with black thread. Centre medallion: small square of geometric floral design surrounded by alternating phoenix, pomegranate and peach. Border at each end of alternating phoenix and lotus. Swastika on body of each phoenix. Ends hemmed; sides selvage.
