A narrow strip of tapestry with stepped ends. Angular, interlocking bird motifs in green or blue with yellow beaks and eyes and red outlines. Interior of bird bodies are filled with small red motifs. The fabric is intact, including two weft selvedges and the original bound finish on the warp selvedges. Structure is under-float tapestry with vertical slits and some eccentric wefts.

The exact negative image fills the background space. One warp selvedge with green heading wefts and one weft selvedge are present. There are two cut edges. Z-spun, 2 plied s yarns.

Rectangular fragment of a slit tapestry band with four zigzag design registers. Primarily yellow with several shades of red, black and green as accents. Two registers have designs of interlocking hooks and one register has designs of profile birds. The fourth register has an irregular shaped design with rudimentary facial features. Piece of a narrow, dark brown openwork textile with profile standing birds arranged along serrated diagonal lines. The ground cloth is 1:1 gauze in vertical alignment. The birds are worked with discontinuous supplementary brown wefts with accents in gold, grey and light green. One warp selvedge and two weft selvedges are present; the other end is cut. The weave is consistently distorted along the sides about 1cm. in from the selvedges. Z-spun, 2 plied s yarns.

Rectangular gauze-weave head cloth of blue, orange, yellow and white threads in a plaid-like arrangement. Composed of two separate loom widths sewn together along the weft selvedges. A yellow camelid heading area is on both ends of one width and red ones are on the other. The cloth is intact. S-twist yarns (cotton), z-spun, 2 plied s (cotton and camelid) yarns.

A small circular five-lobed bronze mirror. Reflecting surface has eighteen Chinese (?) characters around the circumference. Non-reflecting surface has a scene of a pillared Korean building with four towers (?) that have pennants flying behind. At the centre of the non-reflecting side, there is raised handle through which ther is threaded a knotted white cotton cord. Characters read 'Commemoration of Opening of Korean Exposition, October 1, 1929'.

Two pieces of white flannel hemmed in light red-pink silk thread with a loop of the same at the top are glued to the paper backing.
