Round red hat with tied knot at back. Brim features horizontal applique ribbon with geometric woven design of diamonds. Front is heavily beaded with four horizontal rows of crisscrossing beads below four semicircles of beads and shells, metal applique in centre. Either side features two coins, beaded at centre, with rows of beads around circumference, and applique ribbon repeated above. Rows of beads run horizontally from one side to the other, over crown. Knot tied at back sideband with triangular piece of fabric extending underneath knot and past brim.

Men’s apron ornament. Ornament is made of woven red yarn, with a short waist band and long ties that fasten at back. From waist hang three flaps of approximately 10 cm in length, white cowrie shells attached by plastic thread to the hem. At their bottoms hang long, thick tufts of straight animal hair, ranging in colour from light yellow-brown to dark brown or black.
Neck ornament. Twined plant fibre makes up the thick rope of the necklace, culminating at bottom in a small woven crocodile head with cowrie shells for eyes and an open mouth. Bright pigment colouring in black, red and orange. It is constructed around two curved tusks that emerge from the crocodile's neck and curl down below the mouth.
Skirt of shells hung from plaited coconut fibre cords. The skirt consists of many lengths of small white and yellow shells strung by natural fibre, which are then tied to two cords of plaited coconut fibre. One strand has five smaller different shells. (Small piece of tape with collector number attached to cord.)
Standing wooden ancestor figure. Face takes the shape of a large oval mask with flattened cheeks, a sharp, raised ridge running from forehead to nose. Eyes are large inset shells, with three small animal claws are adhered to the forehead above. Nostrils are wide and lips protrude. Face is painted a light brown with dark brown and red-brown designs in small crescents and curving lines surrounding eyes and cheeks and tracing nose. Cowrie shells line chin and brow and cassowary feathers stand out from head and jaw to create hair and beard. Body stands with feet planted on a small rounded base, knees slightly bent, arms hanging at sides, stomach distended. Decorative bands are carved into lower legs and upper arms, and a plaque with carved face sits on chest. A woven loin cloth is tied around waist. Ties of plant fibre are at ankles, wrists, and ears.
Wood carving of a crocodile. Animal is shown at rest, with legs bent and at the sides, tail curved around at back, head extending straight from neck. Surface of body on both top and underside of object is carved to look like scales of various sizes. Head is painted in brown, light grey, orange and yellow, with rows of painted teeth showing between lips, and cowrie shells for eyes.
Narrow navel belt with vertical embroidery on ends. Ends feature section of applique with narrow multicolour stripes between thick coloured sections. Applique shells are attached to beaded tassels. Ends of belt are fringed.
