White cover with blue embroidery. The cover is diamond shaped with a scooped top and curved bottom. There is a wide patchwork border around the outside with floral, bird and insect motifs in blue on white ground. There is a large patch at the bottom, concealing a pocket. There are two small patches in the centre, flanking the pocket opening. The back is unlined.

Hat made of black silk fabric with multicoloured and metallic embroidery in geometric and floral patterns. Flap at back with scalloped edge, the underside of which is orange and green checked fabric. Two strings of glass beads with metal bead ends, and two strings of glass beads with a black and vibrant pink tassel at the end of each extend down from the scalloped edge. Red wool strap extends from one side to the other.
