Tall, cylindrical basket (a) with a square bottom, soft sides, a rattan frame, and a matching lid (b). Rattan checker pattern in dark and natural brown colours. Rattan frame is decorated with geometric motif. Two thin, braided straps, both broken.

Large round woven basket or mat with bands of woven colour. The mat has a yellow centre that is ringed with alternating black and beige bands, and a thick red with beige band. The rim of the mat is black. Edges flare slightly upwards.

A woman's sash is constructed in three panels: a long embroidered central panel with two woven and beaded end panels. The centre panel of off-white linen fabric is embroidered on each edge in black, rust-red, and dark red diamond- shaped geometric designs in cross-stitch, satin stitch, and chain stitch with brass sequins incorporated into the design. The end panels of orange, dark red, metallic silver, and gold tapestry weave are trimmed with clear and coloured glass beads, metallic gold braid, and silver rickrack. Rust-red and dark red fringes trimmed with glass beads and beads made of brass tubing are added at each end.

A woman's heavily ornamented apron. Has a central panel of orange, gold, dark red, and black tapestry weave in a diamond pattern. The sides and bottom are appliqued with metallic gold, silver ribbon, silver braid, and silver rickrack, brass beads, multi-coloured metal sequins, beads made of brass tubing and red- orange fringe. A bottom panel, which is wider than the main body of the apron, is consisting of three rows of thick fringe in orange, red-orange, and black, brass beads, and tubing, of which, this section is backed with burlap. The top of the apron is trimmed with a thick braid of black wool. This garment is very heavy and stiff.

Long cream vest with embroidery, fringe and beads. The vest has centre opening with no fasteners. The vest is close-fitting to the waist, then flares by means of triangular inserts in the side seams. The lower front pieces overlap at the centre and the bottom corners are fastened up. There is a small pocket concealed in the lower right front seam. The large embroidery panels are hand sewn and cover the neck, upper front, sides and bottom hem. The panels have a geometric design in red-orange, black and off-white, metal beads and fringe. The inside is unlined.

Pair of circular bronze mirrors with inset glass; backs have relief patterns of phoenix, mythical animals and clouds. Purple cord and blue ribbon handles are attached to the backs of both mirrors. A paper tag with black and red printed characters on one side and handwritten characters in red pen on the reverse is attached to part a.

Chilkat RobeA4454

Chilkat style robe with woven designs and fringe. The design is a three panel distributive. In the centre is an ancestor face surrounded by a diving whale (?) motif. The side panels continue the diving whale motif. The design is yellow, blue and black on natural ground. The two bottom corners have a checkered pattern in black and yellow, associated with the identity of the weaver. There is a long twisted fringe on three sides of mixed wool and cedar bark.

Oblong, rectangular woven textile covered with elaborate, multicoloured embroidery. Large central red piece of cloth with two smaller rectangular pieces of blue cloth sewn to the ends. All three sections feature bilaterally symmetrical embroidery; two rectangular borders of curvilinear designs surrounding stylized floral designs in green, black, yellow and white with small mirrors sewn on in the centre of the flowers. The blue end pieces feature matching embroidery.
