Textile with a batik pattern and a dark brown fringe at both ends. The centre of the textile has a geometric pattern on purple ground and this is surrounded by a dark brown floral pattern with parallel lines at the ends, all on an orange ground. The long edges are finished with handmade gold thread edging.

Baby Carrier867/14 b-f

Baby carrier (parts b-f). Parts b and c are elongated rectangles decorated with appliqué. Each have a fuchsia border with light pink checkered squares. In the centre is a repeated floral design of red, fuchsia, purple and orange prunuses outlined in black with an orange border. Parts d-e are identical to parts b-c but are smaller; there are only three flowers depicted. Parts b-e are lined with fabric; part b is black and beige, parts c-e are beige. Part f is a long, rectangular shaped, dark purple woven sash ? with tasseled ends.

Tunic1205/6

Small pink silk tunic with embroidery. The tunic has long sleeves and side opening with frog closures. There is a wide border around the neck and partway down the side opening. The border has a red berry and leaf motif on cream ground. On the front, back, and sleeves are peony motifs in red-purple and brown. The inside lining is pink silk.

Three pieces joined together with seam. Large image of open watercraft, with decorative embellishments at prow and stern, in blue. Figure in centre is blue, with four smaller figures in blue and red below. Repeated watercraft motifs, alternating in red and yellow, with figures in red, yellow, and blue below large image; watercraft also above large image, in red with blue insects(?). Two red scorpions also above large image. Border of red, yellow, and blue waves along both selvedges. Blue scroll pattern on one end, figure shapes on other.

Fan758/2

Rattan and bamboo(?) fan covered in small beads with dark green, yellow, blue, red, light green and navy designs on a white background. The fan has a semi-circular body that indents at the back to form a rectangular shaped stem that attaches to the cylindrical shaped handle. Around the outer edge of the fan are multi-coloured birds followed by stripes. The centre holds a large plant surrounded by peacocks and lions. The handle is decorated with multi-coloured stripes. The back of the fan is covered in pink, cotton cloth.

Square, cream, cotton textile detailed with purple, red, orange, yellow, green and pink geometric patterns. The central motif forms a square with small circular mirrors in the centre and around the outer edge. The border of the textile is black with a green, red, blue and white triangular, beaded fringe. At each point of the triangles is a thin, circular piece of metal. The corner sections have larger beads and small sections of purple fringe.

Two identical weavings joined together by black stitching. Alternating bands of red and black; red has repeated animal in white with black lines in tail, blue star and symmetrical shapes between; black has large symmetrical triangle shapes in white and red, blue shapes between each at bottom, and white and red shapes between at top. Striped band in black white and red at each end above black fringe, which have white and red coloured strips.
