Rectangular coiled basket (with bifurcated stitches), slat construction at base. Cedar root used in slat form and wrapped with grass. Faded cherry bark in red and blue squares in two alternating rows around middle of basket. Basket is mishapen.

Narrow, rectangular sash with design. The design has several large motifs, including leaf, mask and square, on an orange-red and gold striped ground. The back lining is pink.

Narrow, rectangular cloth with printed design. The design shows a detailed street scene in gray and black on white ground. There are four gray tabs on the top edge. There are two lower slits, dividing the cloth into three panels. There is a black symbol in the lower left corner.

Garment with beadwork and tassels. The garment is square shaped with a brown pocket slit in the centre. A long band is attached at both ends to the top of the square. The sides are edged with dark green trim. Beadwork covers the entire surface of the band and square. The beadwork has floral motifs in pink, red, yellow, white and blue, vine motifs in blue and large leaf motifs in green on a clear bead background. Attached at bottom are beaded gold and green tassels. The back is lined with brown cotton.

Blue dress with floral pattern. The dress has a white collar, short sleeves and centre opening with a metal snap closures and cloth covered buttons. The floral pattern has flower and leaf motifs in turquoise and green on dark blue ground. The inside is unlined.

Tall cylindrical basket with footed base, tapering sides and flared rim. Simple coiled work (bifurcated stitches) with a slat foot and overcast splint rim. The basket has a continuous imbricated design of dark diamond motifs, above and below a light centre band.

Rectangular imbricated basket with a large black and red repeating V-shaped pattern. The rim is coiled and has two oval shaped handles attached on each side. Long rectangular opening with slightly narrower base.

Beaded bag with a beaded strap. The wide strap has a design with floral motifs within diamond shapes on white beaded ground. At the midpoint, the strap is attached to the bag. The bag has centre floral motifs flanked by multicoloured, wavy lines. The two rows of red and grey have a running otter design of 4 circles followed by a line (represents four feet and the dragging tail). Extending downward from the bottom are beaded fringes with tassels of red and black yarn. Back is unlined.

Rectangular basket with a heavily imbricated design consisting of repeating black, natural and red zigzag strips covering three quarters of the surface. The bottom has a black and light stripe design flanked by a red and light circular patterned stripe. Rectangular opening with narrower rectangular shaped base.

Paper case holding items used for writing. The thick paper is painted then covered with a coat of lacquer. The image on the case (part a) depicted is a miniature of a woman standing with an umbrella. Her appearance is a representation of the Safaviya period in Iran. Each side has two students seated while being taught by an older, male teacher. Bottom is red with gold border. Part b has a landscape image on the end while the rest is red with a black border. Part c is a metal container with a lid that contains pieces of fibre used to make ink. Part d is metal spoon with a leaf like bowl.
