Green panel with woven pattern. The pattern repeats floral, tendril and butterfly motifs in blue, red and white. The back is lined with cream silk.
Red Batak textile with light brown geometric background pattern. Parallel mottled yellow stripes down centre, with one row white stripes on either side and a solid light brown border along edge. Ends have woven bands with diamond shapes, and red and yellow edges. Fringes at ends.
Long,brownish white textile with centre seam. Patterns of plants, flowers and animals in light brown, dark brown with blue accents. Parallel borders of square key scroll pattern around all edges, two ends have perpendicular band of vertical stripes, fringes on ends.
Brown damask silk pillow case with gold couching and appliqué. In the centre is a large round design with meander borders in gold and silver couched threads on black ground. From the top and bottom of the round design are ribbon and bat motifs. Towards the four corners are appliqué prunus motifs. The damask silk is woven with a square-like design.
Red silk panel with green damask silk flap and embroidery. The rectangular red panel has lotus, scroll, floral and fish motifs. The green flap is folded over onto the top of the red panel. On the flap are Buddha’s hand citron, peach, bat and circular gold ornament motifs on a green damask woven with a swastika motif. The panel and flap are edged with white floral and black trim. The back lining is orange cotton. There is a black ink inscription on the back lining.
Collar made of different patterned fabric pieces. The pieces are five-sided with an outwards point. The pieces are sewn together with white thread. The centre is edged with blue trim. The back lining is white cotton with a blue floral print.
Rectangular red textile with mottled brown and light red zig-zag pattern. Two sections on short sides are straight parallel yellow stripes alternating with narrow bands with same mottled colours. Two white an dark green stripes run across this pattern, and parallel stripes of yellow, orange, dark green and white.
Multicoloured collar with embroidery. There are nine overlapping pieces arranged in the shape of a bear. The bear’s face is on the front centre piece with black whiskers and round ears. There are white claws on the four long pieces. The four long pieces have embroidered fish and scorpion motifs. The four short pieces have bear and spider motifs. All the edges have black trim. The back is lined with blue cotton.
Glazed black pants with natural coloured waistband. The pants have a wide waistband, centre gusset and wide straight pant legs. The inside is unlined.
Densely embroidered, multi-coloured, flat, square envelope style bag or purse made by folding and stitching a square piece so that three of its corners meet in the centre, leaving the fourth corner free as a flap. The intricate geometric embroidered designs are worked in silk floss on a cotton textile and are so densely worked that the background textile is almost invisible. In addition to stitchery, the piece is embellished with mirrors and red and black pompoms. The embroidery is backed with blue-green cotton textile.
