White garment with embroidery. The garment has a rectangular shape with no sleeves and open sides. The neck is squared and edged with blue thread. The upper front and back have a dense panel with a multicoloured diamond pattern in rows. Down the centre are blue, pink, green and yellow stripes. The sides have pink stripes. The bottom edge is unfinished and uneven. The inside is unlined.

Plain white cloth with black embroidery. Central motif shows two overlappng diamond shapes with Chinese character between them. One has a large flower and two smaller motifs, the other has flowers and a butterfly. Between each at top or bottom is potted fruiting plant. Four phoenixes surround both diamonds. In each corner are: a lion, an ox, a phoenix, and a person. Each end is hemmed and embroidered with geometric design.

Turquoise blue skirt with lace and purple trim. The skirt has a narrow waistband and a full, pleated skirt. Around the centre are three thin purple bands and one band of white lace. Around the bottom are two thin purple bands. The inner edge is lined with a white band.

Ecru blouse with embroidery. The blouse has square neckline, short sleeves and full lower hem. Bordering the neckline are four squares across the front, four on the back and one and a half on the sides. The squares have a large diamond motif with radiating lines in orange, yellow, green, blue and purple on red ground. There is red stitching around the sleeves. The inside is unlined.

Black and blue tunic with short standing collar, long sleeves and side opening with frog and button closures. The upper body is black. The sleeves and lower body are blue. The collar has a red and black pattern. The side opening has a border of red and black pattern with black and white trim. The inside edges are lined with a cream cotton with a pink flower motif. The inside is otherwise unlined.

Black blouse with embroidery. The blouse has a short standing collar, long sleeves and a side opening with multicoloured frog closures. The collar has a white meander motif. The upper front and back have large floral motifs with a band of smaller floral motifs. The motifs are in red and pink with yellow, green and white details and blue trim. The sleeves have upper and lower bands of small floral motifs. In the centre sleeve is a large panel with bird and vase motifs around a square with centre floral motif in pink, red, white and green. The inside is unlined.

Double-sided embroidered sash of multi-coloured floral, rooster, dragon and decorative symbol motifs on cream background. Dragons in five colours, then repeats colours out of order. One end of sash has wide border of unembroidered cream background bordered with double parallel bands of gold, and gold floral outline in centre. The other end of sash has embroidery right till the end, which has a finished seam. On one length edge is a finished seam, the other side is folded.

White chrysanthemum, encircled gold bird and floral motif on blue background. Two parallel thin gold strips near both ends. One end has two parallel gold bands at end of pattern, the other end has the same but more narrow. Both selvedge edges have been folded under.

Large shawl that goes with tunic, trousers, and vest (Ca35 a-b, d) to form a suit. The shawl is made of two pieces of white gauze and hand sewn together. There is a woven lime green and white geometric border and short white fringe along both ends.
