Green silk cloth embroidered with flowers, leaves, tree branches, birds and peacocks in green, brown, blue, white, pink, purple and metallic thread, on bottom half of cloth strip.
White silk uchikake (打掛) with long sleeve panels and a centre opening. The white silk has a weave pattern in the shape of chrysanthemum known as kikubishi (菊菱) within overlapping circles. The front, back and sleeves are embroidered with rows of pine tree leaves on branches in red, orange, gold, bronze and silver. The inside lining is red silk. The bottom hem is padded.
Woman’s long, sleeveless, A-line dress made of purple silk damask that is patterned over-all with small coin-like motifs and larger roundels enclosing images of dragons and an auspicious symbol. The neckline has a high collar that extends diagonally from centre front, across the chest from left to right and fastens under the right armhole with a loop and metal ball-shaped button. The edges are faced with strips of blue silk or rayon crepe that is patterned with black and white ribbon-like streamers and pink, red and green floral motifs. The garment is lined with gray cotton with an over-all printed pattern of red, green, white and dark blue ovoid shapes.
Green robe (part a) with wide sleeves, side slits, side opening and rounded neck. On the front, back and sleeves are five-toed dragon, sun, fire, wave, pearl(?) and coral motifs in gold, purple, pink, red, blue and white on a green ground. The collar band has a circular meander pattern in white and gold on a green ground. Belt carriers have a blue dragon motif and black meander pattern on an orange ground stiffened with paper, wood and adhesive. The inside lining is orange silk.
Deep blue and black padded hanten (袢纏, also written as 半天, 袢天, 半纏). There are white basting stitches knotted overall. It has a family crest or kamon (家紋) known as maru ni hanabishi (丸に花菱).
Dark blue textile with woven pattern. The textile is made from four long strips sewn together to create a rectangular piece. The pattern repeats staggered rows of square blocks with geometric motifs in white and gray on dark blue ground. The ends are cut, the sides are selvage.
Black kimono with a striped pattern. The pattern consists of very thin, white vertical lines arranged in groups of three. There is a wide patterned band around the neck and partway down the centre opening. The sleeve panels are short with an opening under the arm. The inside is lined with blue cotton.
Brown kimono with thin black vertical stripes. There is a wide band around the neck and partway down the centre opening. The short, wide sleeves have an opening under the arms. The inside is lined with dark blue fabric.
