BeltSf1013

Red belt, firmly woven, with five parallel patterned bands. The centre band is the widest, with geometric shapes, bird, fish, boat, and building motifs in red and green, on white ground. Middle band is flanked by two narrow strips of white squares on alternating red and green sections. The narrow bands near the edges have small scale geometric shapes and bird motifs, in red and green, on white ground. One end has short braided looped fringe, which have a wooden stick slipped through the end loops. The other end has a single re-plied cord looped into the fabric at the centre of the design panel.

Red bag with white geometrically patterned red and green vertical stripes. Wide band of patterns flanked by thin colourful stripes runs down center. Slender strap with same patterns and colourful yarn tassels along the bottom. Chevron edging on sides and bag opening. Extra strap sewn to inside corner of bag.

Cloth, rectangular, with red bands and stripes on an off-white ground. The three major bandss have white geometric motifs down the centre flanked by narrow stripes of red, pink, blue and green. Four red and green stripes alternate with the bands. Red borders at the edges parallel the stripes and bands.

Tapering red and white knit cap with a thick red tassel accented with brilliant colours. The lower half has a brilliant red background divided by dark blue lines into 5 pattern bands. Three bands have an 8 petalled motif joined by geometric and figurative designs worked in white yarn. The upper section is white and tapers to a point where the tassel is sewn on.

Conical shaped, red and white knitted stocking cap with a thick red tassel accented with brilliant colours. The lower half has a red background and is divided into six bands with small scale patterns. Three bands have an eight petal shape joined by stepped lines. Two bands have discrete geometric and figurative designs and the uppermost has an interlocking reverse curve. The upper section is white and tapers to a point. The yarn is very smooth and the stitches very fine. There is a break in the knitting at the lower edge and another small one in the centre of the red section. The patterns are orange, pink, blue, green, yellow, orange and navy.

A pointed knitted cap with ear flaps, pom-poms on chin ties and a tassel at the point. The cap is banded with rainbow stripes of graduated colours. One wide red band near the lower edge has figures of birds and a butterfly and geometric figures. Three other bands have interlocking hooks repeating around the hat. In between, are many different colours arranged to give a glowing optical effect. The earflaps are triangular and the colour changes in this area follow the triangular shape.
