Rectangular brown cover with embroidery. The cover is made from two pieces of cloth sewn lengthwise. Embroidered on the front is a geometrical pattern with longitudinal vine and leaf motifs. There are borders on the ends with zigzag and floral motifs. The sides are finished with green blanket stitches, the ends are unfinished. The back is unlined.
Orange-brown cover with embroidered designs. The cover is made from three pieces sewn together lengthwise. Embroidered on the front geometric motifs forming an allover diamond pattern in red, orange, white, yellow and purple. There is a border with a chevron motif and yellow blanket stitch along the selvage side edges. The ends are unfinished.
White rectangular cloth with blue embroidery. There is an inner rinceau border surrounded by six vase with flower motifs. Around the edges is a small blue triangular border. The back is unlined.
Purple damask jacket. The jacket has a standing collar, front pockets, side slits and a centre opening with brass frog closures. The damask silk is woven with a peony motif. The jacket is lined with yellow-white lamb’s wool.
Rectangle of red cotton with four complete selvedges. Birds in bifold rotational symmetry interlock with similar designs in a contrasting colour. The designs are worked in supplementary warp and weft. Floats of dark yellow, dark blue and white yarns. The red ground cloth is loosely woven and the selvedges show no sign of having been sewn to another fabric. Z-spun, two ply s.
White cotton tablecloth with blue embroidery. A stitched double line divides the cloth into a grid of nine squares. There is a roundel with a floral motif in the centre square of each side and in the very middle. There is a thin floral border around the edges with triangular corners. The back is unlined.
Dark red background with repeating dragon pattern in yellow, blue, green and white, bordered by parallel bands of key scroll design edges and green fish, white blossoms and sea grass. Entire pattern is repeated again, seperated by plain middle section with narrown band of Chinese characters. Ends of entire piece are plain. Selvedges run length, ends are raw.
Cut piece of tapestry border with added fringe. Stripes of yellow, red and black flank a central panel with repeated zoomorphic creatures having human, feline and avian characteristics. The zoomorphic figures are repeated against chevron shapes of reds, yellows and browns. The figures are outlined in black. Parts of two loom widths are sewn together and a separately woven yellow fringe is sewn to one long side.
A narrow strip of tapestry with stepped ends. Angular, interlocking bird motifs in green or blue with yellow beaks and eyes and red outlines. Interior of bird bodies are filled with small red motifs. The fabric is intact, including two weft selvedges and the original bound finish on the warp selvedges. Structure is under-float tapestry with vertical slits and some eccentric wefts.
Rectangular fragment of a slit tapestry band with four zigzag design registers. Primarily yellow with several shades of red, black and green as accents. Two registers have designs of interlocking hooks and one register has designs of profile birds. The fourth register has an irregular shaped design with rudimentary facial features. One warp selvedge and two weft selvedges are present.
