Large round open, coiled basket (with bifurcated stitches). Handles on either side. Imbricated design of checkerboard diamonds in dark cherry bark and cat-tail grass (?), alternating with outlined diamonds in either red or dark cherry bark with same in center, with cat-tail grass (?). Beaded foot with natural colour cat-tail grass (?) indicates basket is from Spuzzum, according to family of basket maker(s) from that area.

Red cotton carrier with a white heart motif print. The carrier is square with long straps attached at each corner. The square has a white cotton centre panel with red embroidery in floral motifs and Chinese characters. Two straps have panels of multicoloured embroidery on loosely woven white fabric. The panels and the top edge of the square are edged with green braid.

Long thin band with woven pattern. The pattern repeats a geometric motif within rectangular blocks in red on white ground. The warp is circular, left unwoven for one third of length. At either end of unwoven section there is a pair of tassels of white cotton thread inserted through warp.

Brown glazed cotton headdress. The headdress is rectangular with all sides hemmed. On one end is a separate piece of cloth joined with a flat seam to body of cloth, glazed side down. White cord loops are sewn to corners. The subtle pattern has a tendril motif visible through the fabric.

Mask with three parts: a) central head piece with cobra-like headdress; b) ear piece that sits on the right side of the head; c) ear piece that fits into the left side of the head. The large, vertically elongated head has a green face, red mouth with white teeth and protruding fangs, a large nose, protruding cylindrical eyes with a crescent-shaped slit below each, and a headdress of two superimposed cobras at the front and one on each side. The cobras are grey-brown with an overall diamond pattern and alternating rows of black and white dots with their eyebrows rendered as thin petal shapes of banded red, white, then black. There are rectangular mortise holes on the sides of the head for the appendage tenons to fit into, and small holes along the edges. Each appendage is circular with an eight-petaled flower, a protruding circle at the centre, and three cobra projections emerging from the top.

Square, open, straight-sided, sharp-shouldered basket with a square collared rim. Rim is made of two strips of reinforced cedar bark. Base is cedar bark checker work. Natural colour with faded brown and red diamond pattern at mid-point. At rim is band of brown with red. Visible only on the interior are thin bands of purple, yellow and green at the shoulder and base; these have faded to yellowish discolourations on the exterior of the basket. Diagonal 'seam' on the body of the basket, on one side where the diamond pattern is irregularly shaped.

Rectangular woven basket with an attached flap-like lid. At front edge of flat lid is red grass tie. At the rim of basket the ends have bowed out leaving a gap between edge of rim and lid at each end of the basket. Bottom of basket consists of three wide strips of cedar bark weft plaited with thin strips of cedar bark warp. Natural colour with three equidistant bands of geometric designs. At mid-point of basket is large scale red geometric design. Lid has horizontal red stripes. Mid-point of flat lid has wide blue-purple strip held in place by cedar bark warps. Edges of basket finished by twining and twill twining.
