Large woven cloak, or cape, with a wide, curved lower border. The natural-coloured textile has a narrow band across the upper edge with a chevron motif in blue, white and red. Sewn onto the sides are bands with line motifs in light and dark brown. The border along the bottom edge has a large zigzag and diamond motif in brown, red and green.

Basketry TrayA8214

Round basketry tray of simple interlocking coiled work (bifurcated stitches) with watch-spring base construction and two coiled rows separated off into handles. Overcast rim and partial imbrication. Twelve pointed star (red and white alternating with black) and a row of tri-colour chevron figures and band of staggered two row figures. Exterior has imbricated figures, the same as the outermost band of the interior pattern.

Bag woven from alternating grey-brown, red-brown and natural grass and bark in a geometric design. Two bands of woven grass(?) are attached at the top edges as handles, and there is a braided grass string threaded through loops near the top edge of the bag with short lengths of red-brown bark at either side of the bag.

Woven fibre bag (bilum) with a wide rounded, flared bottom that tapers to a narrow top. On either side of the narrow opening is a flat handle woven. The covering the surface is three leaf-like flaps outlined and decorated with bands of cowrie shells. The surface has wide bands of cowrie shells with alternating stripes of red and black on a natural ground.

Large nettle bag (bilum) in a trapezoidal-like shape, round and wide at the bottom then tapering to the top. On either side of the slit opening is the end of a woven handle. The body of the bag is detailed with two bands of a maroon and green triangular pattern followed by three maroon and green stripes; all on a natural ground.

Rectangular flared coiled basket (bifurcated stitches). Parallel slat base construction. Upper half of basket is beaded on three sides in horizontal rows of staggered cat-tail grass (?) and dark cherry bark. Lower half has vertical beading in red cherry bark. Fourth side has two vertical bands in red, and dark cherry bark. Beading on rim of short bands of red, and dark, cherry bark. Fibre string at each corner.

Sides and lid: wrapped twined weave with overlay in center of lid. Sides: two groups of horizontal bands with six zed-shaped figures in center. Lid: central oval with small figures around it. Colours: yellow, green, purple, tan.
