Handmade rendition of the Korean flag. Square flag of cream coloured silk-like fabric, with two ties in each corner. Designs are formed of coloured fabric inset into cut-out areas of the flag. At the centre is a disc with an S shape division at centre, dividing the disc into two swirls, one red and one dark blue, each tapering to a point at one end (yin-yang symbol). Radiating out from the disk towards the four corners are four sets of three dark blue bars, some broken and some solid. Clockwise from the top, the first is broken-solid-broken, the second is solid-solid-solid, the third is solid-broken-solid, and the fourth is broken-broken-broken.
Short shirt of yellow fine silk with outer front facings and wrist bands made of burgundy silk, fastened with ties of red silk, doubled and sewn on the inside. The left side laps over the right side to tie. Ties are attached with coarse stitches of green thread. Lining and neck facing are fine white ramie.
Skirt made of red rayon gauze damask, patterned with roundels of paired dragons, called “ssang-yang-mun-sa”. Skirt is formed of three and one-half loom-width panels, pleated onto white waistband with long ties, all made of ramie. The skirt opens completely at the back. At the top edge of the right panel five Chinese characters are woven with gold thread; below them are two parallel green bands. The left upper edge is pulled up very slightly into the waistband, thus raising the bottom edge at that point. One tie is detached from waistband.
Child’s skirt “chima” opening at the back, made of four panels of fine red silk sewn with running stitches of white thread, pleated onto a white waistband with ties at each end, also of fine silk. It opens completely at the back. The upper edge of the silk is turned under to the inside to a width of about 8 cm., with the rough edge of the fabric unfinished. There is a mark in the shape of a rounded triangle on the left lower corner. The pleated fabric is pulled up in the upper left corner higher than the rest into the waistband, thus raising the corresponding corner.
Slender knife with decorative quillwork handle and sheath. The sheath has two strips of quills along the length - red, yellow, green, yellow and red with white diamonds. The knife handle has quills around its circumference for the entire length. There are six rawhide tassels with quills wound around them and animal hair at their ends, at the end of the handle. The sheath is sewn together; the design is overlaid and sewn.
Phulkari style hat panels. Two halves (parts a-b) of a hat, or cap, embroidered in a red scallop design and a yellow, white, and black abstract design; all on a purple ground. Darning-stitch and chain-stitch. Reverse is plain cotton.

Long, rectangular textile made of two panels basted together in the middle. The design consists of a central repeating stripe design in red, pink and black with black border along the sides. The border has maroon, white and purple abstract designs. There is a small red tassel on the middle edge of each side.
Small, rectangular fibre mat decorated with two sections of horizontal bands in red, green, blue, and yellow woven into a natural ground. The coloured bands are formed by twisted cords.
