The head, neck, and body of each crane are made of white beads, or pearls? While both the wings and the tail are made of inlaid light blue kingfisher feathers outlined with metal, the wings also have a row of what look to be white pearls in between. The eyes are outlined with very light blue beads that have a black bead for a pupil. There is an orange bead at the top of each head. The metal beaks are holding loose threads. Behind the cranes, there are four trees made of inlaid light blue kingfisher feather outlined with metal. The cranes and the trees are connected by a common base that is decorated with four pieces of green mineral, from which hang below four sets of flowers made of inlaid light blue kingfisher feather outlined with metal, and pearls? A pair of baby shoes. Each shoe is red, bordered along the top with black. The toe area is decorated with a face. The eyes are made of black fabric circles over white tear-drop shapes with a white bead for a pupil underneath a green sequin and outlined with silver-coloured thread (?). The eyebrows are white fluffy feathers which the cheek areas also have, but in light yellow. The nose is yellow outlined with gold-coloured thread (?). The ears are pinched yellow fabric decorated with two sequins, radiating brown thread lines, and outlined with gold-coloured thread (?) over brown fabric. There is a base for the shoe. The inside is made of pink fabric.

A pair of shoes (parts a-b). Each shoe is made of red fabric which folds over the toe. The part of the fabric which folds over the toe is used to create a natural feature for a face, cut around for the ears that are bordered with black stitchwork. The eyes are made of black fabric circles over white with a white bead for a pupil, stitched to the eye with black radiating threads. The eyebrows are made of orange and green yarn. The nose is made of white fabric attached with horizontal black threads and coloured pink and blue. From the white thread mouth, emanates a continuous white thread moustache or whiskers. The heel of the shoe has a light yellow fluffy feather. The top of the shoe is bordered with a horizontal line of orange thread zig zags.

A finial in the form of a cicada. The body is orange-pink cream-coloured with wings that are made of inlaid light blue kingfisher feathers outlined with metal. The legs are made of coiled metal wire with various decorations including a rounded light green stone, four elaborately carved flat dark green stone pieces that have a circular orange stone piece topped with a seed pearl?
