Cylindrical flared coiled cedar root basket (bifurcated stitches) with foot. Watch-spring base construction, slat body construction. Fully imbricated in cat-tail grass (?) with diagonal stepped design of alternating rows of black and red triangles with a diagonal line of cat-tail grass (?) unning the full length of each band. Foot is beaded in cherry bark. Small fibre loop attatched to one side, broken from other side. Looped border atop rim at one time.

The moccasins (part a and b) are light brown in colour with red stitching around the tongue piece. Each moccasin is made from three pieces of skin; one piece for the sole, the sides and tongue. The tongue piece is decorated with a red chain stitch.

Below the figure are three abstract shapes. All are orange, outlined in purple with green, blue, yellow, purple and pink detailing. The ground is red with black, orange, green, blue, pink, yellow and purple stripes. The panel has a red fabric backing. The edges are raw. The bottom right corner has a fabric tag attached that reads: ‘Authentic San Blas Indian Mola, Handmade in Panama’.
