Debitage -- tertiary flake. Very dark grey, fine-grained volcanic rock. It has a dull lustre and is opaque. Triangular in shape. Possible retouch on distal edge due to serrated appearance. This was found in the truck bed of Timon. No one recognizes or knows where this is from

Utilized Flake2022.O.009:2

Secondary flake, utilized. Dark grey to black fine-grained volcanic rock. It has a dull lustre and is slightly translucent. It is slightly square with two retouched edges. Retouch is chipped and uneven possibly indicating use. This was found in a box from Anna Baran's old desk several years after with no bag, or notes attached. No one is able to recall where this came from

Debitage, secondary flake. Fine-grained volcanic rock. Light brown with a yellow hue with faint rust coloured modeling. The lustre is dull and it is opaque. It is a palm sized flake with many faces removed. Has a beak, but not used as a tool. This was found in a box from Anna Baran's old desk several years after with no bag, or notes attached. No one is able to recall where this came from

Core. Fine-grained volcanic rock. Yellowish brown in colour, with grey patchy stains, felsic/intermediate. The lustre is dull and it is slightly translucent. There is evidence of chemical weathering, pourous pock marks and vesticles, bulky, rough uneven. Not confident about whether it is a core or block shatter due to weathering.

Debitage - secondary flake. Fine-grained volcanic rock with inclusions of larger crystalline grains in cortex. Colour is a very dark grey with a very dark brownish gray patina on the cortex. It has a dull lustre and is slightly translucent. It is small, uneven, weathered, and the cortex has crystalline structures visible.

Biface. Retouched edges. Possible pointed scraper or perhaps a spall tool. Porphyritic fine grained volcanic rock, likely basalt or andesite. It is medium grey, with a slight green hue, large grains, and a pale grey speckle. It has a dull lustre and is opaque. It is extremely water worn, likely spent significant time in the river.
