Large gold silk stage screen with embroidery. The screen is made up of several panels sewn together. Along the top edge are several ties for hanging. In the centre are Chinese symbols within three large purple roundels. The symbols are white with gold sequins. Flanking the three roundels are four-toed dragons, amidst fire and cloud motifs. At each end are Chinese symbols within a red meander border with three more symbols above and four more below. The bottom edge is curved, dipping lower at the ends and in the centre. Along the bottom edge is a black sequined meander border with a two-tone fringe.
