Whisk made of long strands of grass ? that has been gathered together at one end and ornamented with a thick band of beadwork. The beadwork has a design of bands in white, red and green that are interrupted with vertical lines of white, and there is a handle formed by a single strand of alternating red and white beadwork.

SpearA3630 a-b

Thick wooden spear with a cylindrical shaft that is carved in two sections with interlocking ends. The top of the spear (part a) is carved in the form of a sea lion transforming into a whale with an eagle perched on its neck. The whale/sea lion figure has a metal dagger-like blade protruding from its mouth, two human hands at its sides, and round mirror insets for eyes (one missing). The bottom of the lower half spear (part b) is carved into a humanoid face, eyes closed, with two large, protruding zoomorphic ears. Spear is painted with black and red.

Wooden winged puppet; in the form of a human-like female figure, painted white, with wings on her back. The spread wings are decorated with stylized U-forms, split U’s, S shapes and ovoids. The arms are bent at the elbows with the forearms extended and palms facing up. The face is white with red, black and brown detailing. Silver foil under the eyes. The chest has two red, outlined, U-forms. The head, wings, shoulders, elbows and feet are all moveable. The colours are white, red, black, and green.

Long necklace made of glass trade beads strung onto metal wire. The necklace has a repeated pattern of two blue, ‘Russian’, beads next to three red, ‘white heart’ beads. At the end of the string is a large conical shaped blue bead and a Venetian ‘polychrome’ flower bead.

Dark brown apron with string ties, beadwork and a long string fringe. The rectangular fabric has a white bead border along the top edge. Through the middle section are randomly placed bead crosses in red, white, blue and green. Along the bottom is a broken line border of alternating green and red beaded rectangles. Underneath the lower border is a twisted string fringe interspaced with individual strands of grouped white beads.
