Below the waist the robe divides into overlapping multicoloured strips with canopy, mountain, cloud, chrysanthemum and narcissus motifs in silver. There are green glass eyes and circular mirrors on the front, back and sleeves. On surface B, the front, back and sleeves have bird, chrysanthemum, leaf, tree and butterfly motifs in silver, cream and green on a blue ground. The collar, sleeve and border bands have a chrysanthemum motif in cream and silver on a blue ground. There are circular mirrors and tin reflectors. The inside lining is natural-coloured linen.

Pair of shoes with leather soles and pink silk uppers. There is a row of domed tin ornaments at the shoe edge with a tuft of silk thread hanging from every second one, and four domed tin ornaments on a fabric flap on the heel. On the pointed tongue are domed metal ornaments, a dark pink pompom and a yellow pompom. On the toe is attached a grey silk thread tassel. Just above the sole is a layer of blue fabric. Cotton lining and insole. Off-white and red striped fabric edging.

A gold painted conical helmet with openwork floral and scroll designs, and "tiles" around the whole of hat with the openwork around the upper portion, and the "tiles" around the lower portion. There are three flaps, one at the back with two at either side. Circular mirror reflectors attached to designs and flaps: seven in a flower-like pattern on the back flap, three in a triangular-like pattern on each side flap, one on each of the four quadrants of the hat itself, with another at the bottom front.

Red folded hat with embroidery and ties. The front has an appliqued lotus motif, an orange plastic rectangle and a linear border in green and brown around three sides. The back has three vertical stripes of the linear border in green and brown and tiny mirrors. The sides have pieces of different fabric. The inside lining is white cotton.

Complementary panels, with dragon and flame motifs. Gold, silver, blue, and turquoise on red ground. Blue cotton border (2 3/4"deep) at top of hanging, doubled over bamboo piece for suspension. String loop attached at centre top. Yellow shading to pink fringe at bottom. Cotton calico lining, small white circles on red ground. Hanging panels pair.

On the front, back and sleeves are crane, deer, peach and peony motifs in silver, blue, green, purple, brown, yellow and orange on a cream ground. The collar band has a peony motif in white, blue and yellow on a red ground. The sleeve and border bands have Buddhist vase and lotus symbols in silver and pink on medium blue ground. There are green glass eyes and tin reflectors on the front, back and sleeves. Belt carriers have multicoloured fish and flower motifs on a deep pink ground stiffened with paper, wood and adhesive. The inside lining is white linen.
