Stuffed, beaded snake, composed of a head (a) and body (b). The snake holds a small beaded lizard in its mouth. The snake's back is blue with a green and yellow zigzag design, and its belly is light grey with inscriptions beaded in black with geometric design elements that serve to divide the words. One design element appears to be a flag(?) of vertical black, yellow and red bands. The inscription reads 'TURKISH - PRISONERS - OF - DARDANELLS - AIBABA - CYPRU - 1917' [sic].

Pair of hair ties. At one end of each tie, the threads are woven together. At the base of the weave there are white beads alternating with pink and yellow fibre that is wrapped around the base threads. There are three sections of white beads and two sections of wrapped thread. Below the pattern of beads and wrapped thread there is a purple tassel and at the end of each tassel there is either a round metal disc or a white bead. Two wrapped sections emerge from the tassel; these sections again alternate between white beads and wrapped thread. At the end of each of the two wrapped sections there is a tassel, similar to that found in the centre of the tie. At the end of each of the threads of the tassels there is either a round, metal disc or a white bead.

A pair of dark green cloth ties. Each tie is in three sections, each section made up of several strings, all of which are tied together at one end. At the opposite end from the knot, each of the three groups of strings are brought together and then wrapped in colourful thread with a different coloured pattern for each group. At the end of each section, below the colourful thread, are many smaller strings, each with a bead on the end. Two of the groups have blue beads, while one has white beads.

Short sleeve, backless embroidered blouse with long front panel. Predominantly bright pink with multi-coloured embroidery, the central embroidered designs on the blouse are in the shape of cowrie shells. There are two square designs embroidered over the breasts. Within the square designs are smaller embroidered squares and appliqué circular mirrors. There are also cotton puffs with beads on the top in both of the squares, as well as throughout the entire design. The bottom half of the blouse has a ‘U’ shape embroidered design which includes the cowrie shell technique, rectangles with appliqué mirrors in the centre and cotton puffs. There is also a flower motif embroidered on the inside edge of the ‘U’ shape. On the sleeves of the blouse there is a shield pattern with a flower whorl embroidered in the centre of the shield. Around the shield are several cotton puffs also with beads on top. Around the outer edge of the blouse there is a coloured pattern that includes triangles embroidered from both coloured cotton thread and gold thread. To finish off the edge of the blouse there is a multi-coloured stripe. On the bottom of the blouse, in both corners and in the centre, are small tassels with shells and a cotton puff. On the back of the sleeves there is a darker multi-coloured material.

Rectangular, fabric face cover made from a thin, green material that has been lined with a thicker, red floral material. There are two eye holes, one of which has a red embroidered border and the other of which has a yellow and red embroidered border. Down the centre of the cover, between the eyes, a nose-like shape is embroidered that comes halfway down the cover and ends in a circular design. Within the nose-like design there is a red, blue and yellow embroidered pattern. There is a black square border that encloses the eye holes, nose-like pattern, six small mirrors which have an embroidered border, and small embroidered flowers. Outside the black border, on three of the sides, are more mirrors with embroidered borders. Beyond the mirrors, on the outer most borders, there is a wavy white-brown line of applique. There is a beaded fringe around the outer edge of the face cover, consisting of multi-coloured beads in a triangle pattern. At the top of the mask, there are two long red threads that have been tied together. There are beads on the threads where they both attach to the face cover and where thy tie together.

Pair of cast silver earrings, each consisting of a curved ear hook soldered to a rectangular cast silver 'tablet' which is in turn hinged to a larger oval cast silver 'tablet'. This oval section, which forms the main body of the earring, has a silver cast 'feathered snake' design affixed over a red glass centre piece and a 'double scroll thunder pattern' etched around the perimeter. The upper rectangular section has a design of interlocking triangular shapes symbolizing the four directions. Three tapered, cylindrical -shaped ornaments hang by soldered eyelets and shot sections of linked silver chain from the bottom of the oval tablet, each of which has a design of three diamond shapes touching point to point.

Red saddlebag with five tassels, rectangular in shape with a tapered point at the bottom edge. A geometric design embroidered in the centre portion of the bag represents a “cow in the tree/bush” motif. The design itself is embroidered with brown sheep’s wool yarn. A light brown yarn is stitched around the design as a border. There are five tassels at the base of the bag each with three sections of horse hair. Around each of the tassels there is a blue, yellow and red pattern wrapped around the tassel itself. Many of the tassels are knotted. The horse hair is tied to the tassel with a red-orange piece of material. The bag also has a strap that has light brown, orange, yellow and green lines. On either side of the bag where the strap begins are three tassels each with a different coloured end (orange blue and yellow). Also attached to the tassels are several beads (black and white) and round metal discs.

Woman's necklace composed of 10 strands of red, round glass beads with a small repeating pattern of green and white round glass beads. All strands are knotted together at each end, and the ends are in turn knotted together to close the necklace.

The backboard for the cradle is missing, only the quilled ornaments remain. These consist of two large sections of smoked skin, which wrapped around the cradle and were decorated with orange, white, red, brown, light blue and yellow porcupine quills. The design may be called "otter tail” design as the fretwork moves from left to right as if the otter was doing this: jump-jump-slide-jump-jump. Another suggestion is that he "fret" design may be an abstract thunderbird. There are also two straps decorated with quill wrapped thongs, tin cones, and blue and white pony beads. The cradle model is exceptional in two respects. First it is a model and only 3 are known. (The other being in the NMAI and the Peabody Salem Essex). This suggests it was might have been made for sale as pieces that are missing perhaps were not made, or were lost after it was acquired. The cradle decorations are displayed on this mount condensed, as the piece would have been longer. The rectangular piece below might not be in correct location. B Hail, "Hau, Kola,” pg. 144, fig. 127, shows an early Dakota cradle with three of these rectangular forms dangling down from the bottom of the cradle board not from the wrappings.
