The top shape is pink outlined with black and having a green triange within at the bottom. The middle shape is blue, red, and blue. The bottom shape is a black, blue, yellow, and green heart.

Wood and glass sculpture consisting of two parallel glass panels with glass bases (parts b-c) that sit in a fitted depression on the wooden disk (part a). A pale green ribbon of rippled wood passes between the glass and is bolted to the wooden disk below. The panels are green glass, each with a frosted etching of a Maori-type paddle, with salmon and hammerhead shark motifs. Images in each panel are symmetrical in shape, and similar in design. Glass bases point away from each other. Glass panels have rippled edges.

Small cone-shaped doll with wool fibre stuffed inside body. Body is covered in woven cedar bark. Head is round, and doll has black coloured fibre hair that is tied in two braids. Doll has a skin headdress that is decorated with beads.

Small oblong-shaped doll carrier, or cradle, with plastic doll wrapped up in strips of cedar bark. Cradle has arched handle attached to one side. Skin strips attach to handle and opposite end of the cradle. Cradle is decorated with alternating sections of diagonally stitched white cedar root and cherry bark around its perimeter. The lower portion of the cradle has evenly spaced checkered sections of white cedar root and cherry bark.

Rectangular, ceremonial skirt, or apron. The main body of the piece is made of black cotton textile which is bordered at the top with a narrow multicoloured horizontal stripe. The lower third of the garment consists of a finely-woven, horizontally striped, multicoloured textile, with many woven geometric motifs. A horizontal row of cowrie shells (arranged in threes) is affixed to the apron just above this patterned textile and extends almost all the way across the width of the garment. Above the shells are three ‘rosettes’ made of cowrie shells -- one large design in the centre of the skirt and one small design spaced on either side of it. Many long strands of dark red glass and metallic cylindrical beads, interspersed with white seeds, are attached below this row of shells and hang freely to the bottom of the garment. Each strand of beads is finished with a tuft of wool, resembling a small tassel.

The main body of the piece is made of black cotton textile which is bordered at the top with a yellow horizontal stripe and on each side with a narrow, geometrically patterned stripe. The lower third of the garment consists of a finely-woven, horizontally striped, multicoloured textile, with many woven geometric motifs. A horizontal row of closely-spaced pairs of plastic buttons is affixed to the apron just above this patterned textile and extends almost all the way across the width of the garment. Many long (38 cm) strands of dark red glass and metallic cylindrical beads, interspersed with white seeds, are attached in pairs below this row of buttons and hang freely to the bottom of the garment. Each strand of beads is finished with a tuft of wool, resembling a small tassel.
