Vase1318/4

Bulbous-shaped vase that narrows at the neck and flares at the rim. Small circular foot. Vase has six defined sides. Upper portion of vase has bands of gold, red, blue, pink and brown floral and geometric designs. Lower portion of the piece is black and has larger vertical images of dragons alternating on gold and maroon coloured backgrounds.

Figure548/19 a-f

The square wood frame base (part a) is painted white with a roof-like top and a square protrusion in the middle. The front sides are decorated with a triangular pattern of alternating triangles of black, red, blue, and yellow on the outer side and glass-mirror triangles on the inner side. The wood swing platform (part b) is painted white with two metal eyes (to be hooked and attached to the frame base which also has two metal eyes) on top. The mirror-glass piece (part c) is a triangular shape with the top corner cut off, and it is detached from the top side of the frame base. The taller figure (part d) is standing with its legs crossed and it is playing a flute-like instrument. The shorter figure (part e) is standing with its legs side-by-side with its right arm pointing upward and its left arm pointing downward. Both figures are wearing a headdress and ornaments. One gold-like metal chain (part f) is worn by the shorter figure (part e).

Snuff Bottle692/3 a-b

Clear glass bottle (part a) with rounded green coloured stopper with cork and stick attachment (part b). From the neck of the bottle, the shape of the piece slopes down at an angle and ends one-quarter of the way from the top. It then slopes inwards and tapers to a base with four squared-off feet. The bottle is painted with blue, pink and black paint. On one side, there is a small bird sitting on a cliff looking out at flowers and plants below. On the other side, there is a small bird sitting in a tree. There are Chinese characters written on the top edge of the piece to the side.

Earrings1262/342 a-b

Pair of earrings that has multiple strands of black-coloured braided links. Attached to the bottom of each braided strand are groups of white and red, and green coloured beads. One earring (part a) has a row of blue, grey and black beads at the top with six small metal rings. The other earring (part b) has a row of red, orange and white earrings attached to the top with five metal rings.

Doll645/1 a-f

A doll (part b) within a case (part c) which has a base (part a) and a glass top (part d). The female doll has a pink face, brown glass eyes, a red mouth, and grey eyebrows. Her black hair is made out of thread and is tied up in a bun with red, blue, pink, and yellow flowers, a pink and blue butterfly, and five dangling silvery metal strips. Overtop of her hair there is a grey and white striped cloth. She is wearing a kimono-like dress with a floral pattern which includes the colours orange, gold, pink, yellow, red, black, brown, and white. There is a bouquet of flowers attached to her back and she is holding black and silver-coloured wand with white "hair" in both hands.

Pair of dome-shaped bracelets with intricate designs that widen in the centre and taper at the edges. Part a has a diamond-shaped metal piece with a green coloured circular glass piece in the centre and is surrounded by an intricate series of dots with lines radiating from their centres. Part b has a star-shaped metal piece attached to it with a green circular glass piece in the centre and is surrounded by series of solid dots.

Female figure adorned with a strand of white beads around her neck, a strand of orange beads around her waist, and a braided strand of fibre around her rib area. Face is protruding and oval-shaped, and is decorated with raised dotted patterns under eyes, on cheeks, and near mouth. Figure has a large head with a bun and a long braid that extends midway down the back. Breasts are defined, arms are at sides, and hands are resting on hips. The figure has a defined belly button, female genitalia, linear marks on stomach and dotted marks on back and neck. Legs of figure are bent at knees, feet are forward and attached to base.

Fertility Figure771/52

Fertility figure (akuaba) with a flat, disc-shaped head. High oval forehead, curved upraised brows, horizontal semi-oval eyes, a long vertical nose, and a small mouth at the bottom of the face. Rings are carved around the neck. The horizontal rectangular arms are outstretched to the sides with small pointed breasts below. The lower half of the body is cylindrical and ends with a base at the bottom. Red, green, brown, blue, and yellow beaded strings adorn the figure at the top, and a turquise, pink, white, and yellow beaded string adorns the bottom. The figure is attached to a black painted stand with a metal nail. The stand has red velvety material on the bottom.

Mask1442/2

A wood mask inlaid with beads. The circular eyes have horizontal slits carved out, and metal eyelids, one of which, the top left eyelid, has a diagonal pattern of lines and dotted semi-ovals. The nostrils and the mouth are also carved out. The left eye is surrounded with turquoise beads, then green beads, then purple beads. The right eye is surrounded with blue, red, and white beads, then yellow beads. The rest of the face is has semi-circular rows of multi-coloured beads, except for the long nose which has diagonal rows of multi-coloured beads.

A green felt fabric beadwork purse with red beads along the sides. There is a red and white felt handle with green beads along the sides. The purse has a metal zipper with a red and white felt tag that has red beads forming the letters 'L', 'J', and 'L'. These letters are surrounded by lines of green, pink, and green beads. One side of the purse is decorated with an orange six-petaled flower outlined with blue and green on a white felt background with the sides surrounded by red, green, and red beads. The other side of the purse is decorated with a yellow beaded background with two red flowers outlined with light blue at the top corners, two clear yellow flowers outlined with pink and having a dark blue centre at the bottom corners, and a dark blue flower outlined with orange and accentuated with clear orange, clear yellow, dark blue, and purple-red beads in the centre.
