An ornamental piece that is made of a central pink rounded glass (?) piece surrounded by ten clear cut circular glass (?) pieces attached with metal. Chinese opera hair ornament most likely from the 1920's.
Green coloured circular stone that is secured with four metal prong-like claws and is surrounded by small circular glass gems. A long metal piece is attached to the underside of the object. It extends to one side of the object, and tapers to a sharp point.
Six (parts a-f) small ornamental pieces that have a flower shape with a central circular green glass or mineral surrounded by twelve clear cut circular glass (?) pieces held together with metal and a green-painted wood backing. Chinese opera hair ornaments most likely from the 1920's.
Cantonese opera hair ornaments. Six (parts a-f) ornaments (hair pins) that are made of dark green circular cut glass pieces attached with metal. Each piece has a short thin flat rod with a point at the bottom end and a diamond shape with sixteen dark green circular glass pieces.

An ornamental piece that is made of clear cut circular glass (?) pieces and fine white and light green netting attached with metal. The shape is that of a flower that has a central large oval-shaped clear cut glass (?) piece surrounded by ten clear cut circular glass (?) pieces with fine white and light green netting petals underneath, every other which petal is longer with a clear cut circular glass (?) piece at the end. The stem is made of coiled metal decorated with seven clear cut circular glass (?) pieces. Chinese opera accessory most likely from the 1920's.
An earring made out of seventeen white pearl-coloured coated beads, each with a tiny clear orange bead at the end, to create a cluster of grapes with two clear green glass leaves at the top.
Metal hat with fabric squares and multicoloured pompoms. The gold metal frame has a round centre and scalloped outer edge. Within the frame are bat motifs, circular mirrors and fabric squares in purple, black, red, green and mauve. Attached to some of the scalloped points are pompoms; three blue/white, two orange and two turquoise.
Rectangular, ceremonial skirt, or apron. The main body of the piece is made of black cotton textile which is bordered at the top with a narrow multicoloured horizontal stripe. The lower third of the garment consists of a finely-woven, horizontally striped, multicoloured textile, with many woven geometric motifs. A horizontal row of closely-spaced cowrie shells is affixed to the apron just above this patterned textile and extends almost all the way across the width of the garment. Many long (38 cm) strands of dark red glass and metallic cylindrical beads, interspersed with white seeds, are attached below this row of shells and hang freely to the bottom of the garment. Each strand of beads is finished with a tuft of red wool, resembling a small tassel.
Clear round glass float encased in a tightly woven covering; woven covering has a large circular opening ringed by a raised, flared lip. Covering is encircled by bands of decorative colour and open weave as well as a repeated step design and image of two people in a canoe.
