Exterior of jug is slightly ridged; more pronounced across interior. Opening of jug curves inward slightly to globular centre; centre rounds out into a cylindrical body with a flat foot. Jug is light grey with a light blue band around middle; dark brown speckles and lighter brown coating across exterior. Square filled with diagonal zigzags stamped into blue band, underneath pouring lip. Artist pottery studio mark, a slug, stamped along bottom edge of jug, underneath handle; "R6" inscribed on base, below artist mark.

Commemoration mug. White cup is round, with partly tapered sides; flat base with a slight foot. On front centre is the Zambian flag with "ZAMBIA INDEPENDENCE DAY - 24th October 1964" curving underneath; flag done in colour, text in black. On back centre is a portrait inside an oval-shaped medallion; stippling throughout background. Smiling male figure has short hair, and is wearing a patterned wrap; done in black and white, with shading. "DR. KENNETH KAUNDA - THE FIRST PRESIDENT" is written underneath portrait; done in black. Base is undecorated and unsigned.

Small pot (part a) with lid (part b). The small pot has two small pointed handles on opposite edges that are painted blue with some brown on the inward-facing sides. The bottom half of the pot has two rows of repeating floral designs - brown centre dots surrounded by circles of small off-white dots. The bowl is deep, with straight walls, and a small ridge for the lid to sit on. The lid has a flat top, and rounded sides. The sides have the same repeating floral designs as the pot, and the small handle at centre is painted blue. There are two small holes pierced through the lid. The pot and lid are glazed.

Small flower-shaped bowl with scalloped sides and rim. A brown band is painted around the interior of the lip, with a small design at the base of the bowl with four green petals, flanked by two long stem-like shapes on two sides, and three small tear-drop shapes on the other two sides.
