Pottery bowl with glaze patterns in turquoise blue and off-white, with smaller designs in dark brown. The round bowl has deep sides, a wide lip and a footed base. The base is unglazed and has written inscriptions with date and place information.

Teapot3570/2 a-b

Small, round, Multan pottery teapot (part a) with lid (part b). Uneven blue glaze with uncoloured patches, covered in clear glaze. Lower section and base are unglazed. Spout on one side, handle on the other side. Inside of teapot and top of round lid are glazed in the same pattern. Lid has a small knob on top.

Multan pottery vase. Floral and geometric designs painted in dark blue and turquoise, with a white glaze. Vase is somewhat hour-glass shaped; the lower sides indent toward the round, unglazed base. The inside is mainly unglazed except for the top 4 cm which have uneven glaze over unpainted clay. Some small chips around the rim; five chips of surface material missing around lower body.

Famille rose porcelain vase with a flared lip, cylindrical neck, oval-shaped body, and flat base with a raised foot; carvings of a creature, holding a red ball, on either side of neck, function as handles. Opening and bottom edge of vase are trimmed with decorative bands; borders are filled with intersecting lines, floral motifs, and four irregularly-shaped ovals spaced throughout. Ovals are filled with different designs; opening border ovals filled with additional floral motifs, bottom border ovals depict structures and surrounding landscapes. Rest of vase surface is decorated with a various scenes; including people at court, boating, and walking through gardens. Sticker attached to vase base.

Vase3588/3

Famille noire, tall vase decorated with pink blossoms and peaches on a black background. Vase has a slightly flared lip and long neck that curves outward into a rounded body; base is flat with a small raised foot. Entirety of vase is covered in flowering branches with leaf offshoots, a variety of flowers in shades of pink, and nine peaches. Red seal stamped at centre of base.

Talavera pottery. Round plate with raised wavy lip and dark blue scalloped rim. Painted floral designs on the front of the plate. At centre, a cross with four arms of equal length within a four-point shape surrounded by brown flowers with yellow colouring around dark blue centres. Around the lip, repeating designs with dark blue fern-like leaves behind. Glazed on front and back. Single hole through the raised edge on the base. Signed Talavera Loza Blanca.

Vase3514/1

Squat vase with cut-out and raised decorations covering outer surface. Circular body has a flat shoulder and round opening, with a straight lip. Around shoulder there is an alternating cut-out pattern of large circles and medium circles framed with smaller circles. There are channels carved around the circles, creating curvilinear motifs across the shoulder. Wavy lines, done in relief, circle the sides; horizontal lines incised in negative space between waves. Vase is brown-red with green glaze throughout. Foot and base are undecorated; artist signature incised on base.

Square Vase3517/6

Grey stoneware vase with a square cross-section; opening is circular with a straight lip. Shoulder is flat; edge curves over, forming a raised border along the top of the body. Similar raised edge sculpted around base. Wavy channels carved along sides, forming vertical rectangular panels around vase. Straight horizontal channel carved two-thirds down the sides, forming a plain band around the bottom section. Black speckles throughout glaze; base is undecorated. Maker's mark stamped on base; tags attached to base.

Black inverted vase with a circular body and long cylindrical foot; opening is oval-shaped. The body is flattened, giving it pinched edges. Abstract forest landscape painted in dark brown through centre of circle, on front and back, with a red sun in the top corner. Strokes of golden brown, silver and white paint run throughout landscape. Rest of vase is undecorated. Maker's mark stamped on edge of base.

Glazed bowl with straight thick walls that taper slightly into a small base with a foot; lip is inverted. Bowl is light green with swirls of grey from the midpoint of the walls to the bottom; more visible on interior than exterior. Dark brown speckles throughout. Base is unglazed; unsigned.
