Small round off-white dish painted with black and green design elements. Inside of dish has design of a bird-like creature holding a fish in its claw. The upper creature has a fin on its head and a wing and tail. Both have black outlines with black and green elements. Black circle painted in the centre; black and green painted around the top of rim, with seven sets of three unpainted lines. The base has the Lambert Potteries stamp and a hand-written inscription: Salish Spindle Whorl / Hand-painted / T.

Trans Mountain3585/1 a-e

Multi-piece ceramic sculpture of a black ship hull with a crushed can, twisted product tube, log, and pitted sphere bolted onto it (part a). The can and product tube are black; tube has a red cap. The log is grey and dark brown, and covered with a small black blanket; olive green sphere, representing COVID-19, is perched on top of blanket. Additional components rest on the hull and sit around it; additional pieces are: small, crushed olive green can (part b), small, crushed black can (part c), grey pitted COVID-19 sphere (part d), and a dark brown flower with a wilted stem (part e). Ship hull, cans, and green sphere are glazed; rest of sculpture is painted.

Yellow earthenware jewelry box (part a) in the form of an escritoire, with two long lower drawers (parts b-c), and 9 smaller ones above (parts d-l). Painted with purple-red scenes of buildings and trees in black framed, rectangular, white reserves on upper and lower sides and drawer fronts. Each drawer opens and has a knob handle.

Square ceramic tile with scene painted on front. All sides are glazed. Background is black and all other design components are done in cream. Central design of three figures standing around a seated woman in an ornately decorated room. The woman, wearing a long short-sleeved gown, is at a writing desk, facing a man with a feathered hat and cape. In the background, to the left of the woman, are another man and woman. The standing woman is holding the second man back. In the top left corner, in a rectangle with a shield outline inside of it, are the words “Bride of Lammermoor.” In the bottom right corner, in a rectangle with a stylized oval inside of it, are the words “Ravenswood & Lucy.” The name of the tile designer is painted in the bottom left corner. Raised grid across back of tile. In centre of grid three diagonal ridges are stamped. Manufacturer’s mark, Mintons China Works, in between ridges.

Square ceramic tile with floral motif painted on front. Surface is glazed. Background is off-white. Border along all edges with alternating triangles inside it, done in pale yellow and dark brown. Each triangle has a semi-circle at the bottom and lines stretching out from the semi-circle. In the four corners of the border are squares with stylized crosses. Tile has a central design of red-pink flowers with large dark yellow and blue-green leaves. Flowers and leaves are growing on dark brown stems, with smaller branches with black leaves. The large leaves overlap with the border in places. Small circle and large circular outline imprinted on back of tile. Inscription on back.

Square ceramic tile painted cream with dark brown floral and geometric motifs overtop. Surface and sides are glazed, back partially glazed. Quarter circles in tile corners with geometric designs inside. Plain brown line border, next to wider band with white interlocking line inside it. Central design of a large flower with multiple offshoots. Overtop of flower is a cross, dividing tile into four sections. Cross arms made up of two lines- a plain one and one with slanted Greek key motif. Raised grid across entire back of tile. Inscriptions, handwritten and stamped, on back.

Jar3433/11 a-b

Small jar (part a) with a lid (part b). The jar's form is somewhat hourglass-shaped, with more proportional upper and lower sections, with concave midsection. The lower section has a slight taper in to the base. In the upper section, there are three flattened areas marked with rows of texture. The rim is brown, just below the lip. The interior of the jar and underside of the lid are a light grey-blue. The lid is flat, circular and has a flange to fit within opening of the jar.
