A shadow puppet of transparent leather cut out representing a female figure. Around the torso, there is a coiled rope design that re-emerges under her half-raised arm as seven snake heads. Holding a striped sash above the head and wearing lavish jewelry on the wrist, ear, and throat as well as a dangling flower nose pin. Figure is dyed red and black. Black areas are perforated.
Stool carved from a single piece of light brown wood. Stool has two wide set flaring legs, anda a short small seat. A thin iron rod goes through two holes near the top under seat.
Brown, rectangular skin skirt with ties and fringe. The long thin ties have triangular handles attached to the ends. The light tan coloured fringe along the bottom is made from four rectangular pieces attached to the back of the skirt.
Skirt made of an overall trapezoid shape composed of three pieces sewn together with thread made of thin strips of skin. The lower pieces are ovoids with rectangular straps sewn to the sides of the upper piece made from an almost complete hide with tapering straps at the top of each side. The bottom pieces are dark brown, reddish-brown and light brown. The top piece is in lighter, varying shades of brown and off-white, and there is a hole on each side as well as one at the centre. There is one hole on each of the other skins.
Oval bowl carved from a single piece of yellow-brown wood of uneven thickness. Sanded surface has been oiled. Thicker and slightly pointed at the ends. Small flat bottom with a piece of paper stuck to it.
Lyre with two arms and crossbar, all incised with a criss-cross design. The arms fit into plastic bowl covered with two pieces of tanned skin and hand sewn with goat gut. Six plastic strings are fastened to six pegs and lashed around the pegs and the crossbar. The strings are fastened across the front of the sound box over a wooden bridge and are all tied to a piece of gut which is sewn onto the sound box and stretched.
Elder's stool carved from single piece of light coloured wood. Three legs each with flaring bases. Seat is round and concave. Well finished.
Small light brown cylindrical bamboo container with two pieces of hide that bave brown parts of hair still on used for caps at each end. Strip of dark brown leather sewn together with hide at the bottom goes all around the container for a handle and is held in place in four places by a small string of beads on the bottom edge of the cap. Red beads on the cap and white with blue striped beads also.
Goat horn spoon. The horn spoon has a typical-shaped bowl with lighter fibrous streaks, and a carved handle. Handle is carved as a creature (sea monster?) with circular eyes, within tapering ovals, with its tongue out, two front paws, two pairs of back flippers with a sideways split u in betwen, and three scales on its back.
Stool carved from single piece of wood; seat is oblong with pointed ends, and is widest near the ends and narrower at the center with a slight dip towards the centre. The base is a hollowed-out, conical shape, which then extends into a relatively flat stem with slightly curved sides. Several copper staples overall. A curved, copper handle made of a thick wire with ends inserted through two holes in the stem and bent back to secure the handle. Slightly polished finish. Part a: base and part of seat.
