Drum2752/1 a-c

Barrel-shaped brown drum (a) with wide woven strap has stretched white goat skin held in place over each end with wood hoops. White rope laced between the two skins in a zigzag has attached metal rings from which hang bundled, twisted or braided strands of yellow, blue, red, black, green and pink fibre with tassels and pompoms at the ends. Two drumsticks, one a polished piece of wood with curved handle and padded red leather top (b), the other a simple painted stick with black tape near one end (c), are stuck between the lacing.

QuiverK2.406 a-d

Quiver (part a) with three (parts b-d) arrows. Quiver (part a) is made of goatskin. Arrows (parts b-d) are made of plain wood shafts with tin tips. All of the metal tips of the arrows (parts b-d) have an arrow point. The metal tip of the first (part b) arrow has a long, cylindrical base. The metal tip of the second (part c) arrow has a long, coiled base. The metal tip of the third (part d) arrow has a long, rectangular base. The base of the shafts near the tip ends of the last two (parts c-d) arrows are wrapped with fibre while the first (part b) arrow is unwrapped.

Rectangular skin apron. Apron is wider at the top and tapers towards the bottom. Top of apron has a long tubular beaded rim with white, black, green, purple, and blue beads wrapped around a fibre form. Skin flap extends below beaded fibre form. Overall design on skin apron consists of white rectangles, and triangles in white, black, green, and blue, and purple. In between two panels on either side of the bottom of the apron, there is a section of skin fringe with white and blue beads attached to the ends.

Beaded hide apron with straight top and five scalloped panels hanging along the bottom. Top portion is black with white beading on the edge and the rest of the apron is beaded with white beads, is accented with geometric designs in blue, red, pink, yellow, orange, and green beading, and edges are trimmed with blue beads. Two twisted white fibre ties hang down the front.

Black goat fur helmet with shaved areas for eyes and mouth. Nose is of wood and is triangular, affixed between the eyes. Simon Peter mask with painted red face and brown goat skin hair. The face has an open mouth and holes drilled for eyes. Above the eyes strips of goat skin are attached for eyebrows. The goat skin hair covers top of head and extends around neck and forms a hood for the wearer. A twisted tie is attached to the goat skin on the left side.
