Gold brooch in a raven design. Bird’s wings are slightly spread and angled down, long feathers on left separated and defined. Legs are bent at knees and tail feathers fall between and below them. Head is large and turned to the side, with open mouth, large eye and squared head crest. The surface of the brooch is textured. The back has a brooch pin running from the nose to the opposite wing. "Reid 70" inscription on back.

Somewhat square, front-on face of animal stares out from centre of brooch, tongue lolling between sharp pointed teeth under a prominent nose with curling nostrils. Cotton turban. Garment is thin and very long, made of light, fine fabric that is dyed mottled shades of orange and yellow, with thin chevron patterns in green. Clusters of small gold leaf dots run the length of the fabric. An embroidered panel of metallic gold thread sits at one end of the garment.
