The folded hat is black and rectangular with a rounded top piece, a back flap and embroidered motifs. The hat has a black centre panel which folds inwards on both sides. Embroidered on the centre panel are pink, orange and green peonies with green leaves and yellow swirls. On the inside of both side folds is a red and white peony with green leaves and yellow swirls. The rounded top piece has pink and orange peonies with green leaves and yellow swirls. Hanging down from the top piece on either side of the centre panel is a red streamer. On the back, the flap mimics the rounded top piece and extends down past the bottom of the folded centre panel, flaring out at the bottom. In the centre of the flap is a large pink, orange, red and yellow peony. Surrounding the flower is a circle of gold scroll designs and red, pink and orange peonies with green leaves and swirls. On the inside of the hat is ecru lining, stiffened with cardboard. One ecru tie and one cloth tie are attached.

Reversible transformation robe (fan gongzhuang) with a stand-up collar, wide sleeves, side slits and a centre opening with brass frog fasteners. On surface A, the upper front, back and sleeves have phoenix, bat, cash, narcissus and peony motifs in silver on a red ground. The sleeve border has chrysanthemum motif in silver on a black ground. Below the waist the robe divides into overlapping multicoloured strips with canopy, mountain, cloud, chrysanthemum and narcissus motifs in silver. There are green glass eyes and circular mirrors on the front, back and sleeves. On surface B, the front, back and sleeves have bird, chrysanthemum, leaf, tree and butterfly motifs in many colours on a tourquoise ground. The collar, sleeve and border bands have a chrysanthemum motif in red, pink, purple and yellow on a turquoise ground. There are circular mirrors and tin reflectors.

Ecru robe with wide sleeves, side slits and side opening with tie. On the front, back and sleeves are peony, butterfly, cricket and melon motifs in red, orange, green, blue, pink and purple on ecru ground. The collar border has peony, coin and endless knot motifs on a blue ground, edged with gold braid and green trim. The inside lining is natural-coloured linen.

Orange armour robe with slender sleeves, epaulets and a side opening with brass frog fasteners. Below the waist, the armour divides into one front panel and three back panels. On the front are fu dog, butterfly, sun and peony motifs in gold, pink, red, purple, blue and green. The detachable collar band has butterfly and peony motifs in gold, green, purple and blue. The sleeves are have butterfly, bat, peony and swastika motifs in gold, pink, purple, green and blue. The back has butterfly, bat, fish, endless knot and peony motifs. On each of the large back panels there are five tassels in yellow, turquoise, pink, green and orange. On the front are four tassels in turquoise, green, light and dark pink. There are green glass eyes, tin reflectors and white fur on the front and back. There are also circular and hexagonal mirrors. The inside lining is white cotton.

Orange robe with slender sleeves, side slits and side opening with brass buttons. Fish, chrysanthemum and peony motifs on the front and back, in silver, pink, red, green and black on orange ground. Collar band has bat and peach motifs in silver and pink on green ground. Sleeve and border bands have endless knot and double cash motifs and longevity symbols in gold, red, pink and green on medium blue ground. The borders are stiffened with paper. There are mirrorsand green glass eyes on the front and back. The inside lining is yellow jute.

Blue damask vest with floral pattern. The vest has a rounded neck, side slits and an off-centre opening with brass frog closures. The opening, sides and bottom hem have pink borders with gold braid and pink/white floral trim. The borders are stiffened with paper. The inside lining is natural-coloured linen.

Purple-black opera robe with wide extended sleeves, side slits, side opening and angled neck. On the front and back are bat, coin and peony motifs in gold and pink on a purple-black ground. The collar band has peony motifs in gold on a red ground. The sleeve and border band have lotus and rare vase motifs in gold, silver and pink on medium blue ground. There are green glass eyes and tin reflectors on the front, back and sleeves. Belt carriers are silver chrysanthemums on deep pink ground stiffened with paper, wood and adhesive. The inside lining is yellow linen.

Ecru robe with wide extended sleeves, side slits, side opening and banded neck edge. Four-toed dragon and fish designs on the front and back, in gold, pink, blue on orange ground. Collar, sleeve, and border bands with endless knot, rare vase, wheel, hsi, and double gourd symbols in gold and pink, red and blue on white ground. There are mirrors, green glass eyes and tin reflectors on the front and back. Belt carriers are silver chrysanthemums on deep pink ground stiffened with paper and glue. The inside lining is ecru linen.

Pink robe with wide extended sleeves, side slits, side opening and banded neck edge. Four-toed dragon, fish, waves, pearl, peony, bat and fungus motifs on the front and back, in gold, pink, green and blue on deep pink background. Collar, sleeve, and border bands with the eight Taoist immortal symbols in gold, silver, pink and orange on medium blue ground. A tie fastening allows the collar to be detachable. There are mirrors, green glass eyes and tin reflectors on the front and back. The inside lining is natural-coloured jute.

Pink robe with slender sleeves, side slits, side opening and angled neck. On the front, back and sleeves are bird, butterfly, lotus, peony and chrysanthemum motifs in silver, pink, yellow, green, blue and white on pink ground. The collar band has prunus and lotus motifs in silver on a blue ground. The sleeve and border bands have peony and hsi (double joy) motifs in silver on pink ground. There are green glass eyes, tin reflectors and fur on the front, back and sleeves. The inside lining is yellow linen.
