Small hollowed-out gourd with floral design around the outside surface. A panel of large flowers, with circular swirls, and leaves wraps around the body. A single uneven line divides it from the undecorated base.
Shiny black gourd (part a) with cutout lid (part b). The design around the body is arranged in groupings of bright-coloured flowers outlined in gold. The lid is tall and bulbous, with a flower-shaped base which fits into the cutout in the container. The rim is outlined in gold. The lid also has groupings of bright flowers outlined in gold and large gold butterflies. The interior of both the container and lid are red.
Gourd container. Round bottom, slender neck, somewhat oval upper section and opening. Twisted fibre.
Pyro-engraved gourd. Intricate designs all over. The gourd is a disproportionate hourglass-shape, with the top portion being smaller than the bottom portion. The top is engraved with a jungle scene with birds, monkeys and squirrels included. The pinched centre of the gourd has two horizontal bands with a twisted rope design, and a large zigzag pattern in between the two bands. The bottom portion is also a jungle scene, with toucan-type birds, monkeys, lizards, snakes and small mammals on the floor.
Small gourd container (part a) with cutout lid (part b). Intricately carved panel around the exterior of the gourd with scene of ten musicians and dancers. The lid is cutout from the gourd with eight points, and one flat line, like the shape of a tree and trunk. Within this shape are multiple circular bands, with 17-point star at centre. Circular, plain base has handwritten note in pencil "Santa tiago, Tipico". Artist's signature.
Large pyro-engraved gourd bowl. Exterior convex side, intricately carved with trees, flowers, birds, toads, a bird's nest, a fox and two hunters, one of which is firing on a raptor with a gun, and the other a slingshot firing at a squirrel. The base has a large white eight-petaled flower design within a circle of cross-hatching. Under the rim is a band with 'POR MAX INGA A' and ' ARTE DEL PERU' between plaited design.
Pyro-engraved gourd container (part a) with lid (part b). The container and lid are intricately carved. The container has a horizontal panel that extends around the circumference depicting a scene of musicians, and people dancing. Below, a thin band with a plaited design with the word ARTE on one side, and PERUANO on the opposite side. The base has a six-point star with an eight-petaled flower within. Between the points of the star are various animals: goat, toad, bull, fox with chicken, raptor with snake, and tall slender bird. At the centre of the flower is carved 'Max Inga A, Piura, Peru '78'. The lid is carved with flower motifs, and has a flower-like base that is cut directly out of the gourd.
Adinkra stamp of the 'Akofena' (ceremonial sword) design, carved info a piece of calabash gourd. Parts b-c are two sticks from the handle (normally would be four). The gourd stamp (part a) has a deeply carved design of two crossed swords, with the blades curving across the top, the tips of the handles at the bottom corners. The back surface has four small holes for sticks.

The gourd stamp (part a) has a deeply carved design of a circle with projections toward the outer edge and two inside. The back surface has four small holes where the pointed ends of the sticks are inserted, crossing midway up, at the thread, to form the handle.
