Basket made from a frame composed of two bent branches and several supports with twisted grass woven around them. Square at the mouth tapering towards the base. A grey twisted goat hair rope is secured to one side and serves as a carrying strap.

A grass necklace consists of four chains of small circles of braided grass. At each end, the chains are combined to form two short ends. These are finished by tying on two, 3.5cm. long strings of multi-coloured glass (?) and metal (?) beads strung on a fine twined piece of grass to form the neck ties.

Double-headed metal bells, connected at top, narrow ends by a curved metal handle wrapped with reeds. Each head is conical, two-sided, hollow and tapered, in the shape of an elongated cone. The sides of each cone are curved and joined by a flattened, protruding seam. The metal is rough, uneven and rusted away in places. Bells are mottled. Reed wrapping is natural variegated colour.

Demonstration backstrap loom (part a) with various attached and/or removable pieces (parts b-n). Part a: loom with front and back wooden loom bars with natural multi-ply cotton string warps attached; strings in dyed green and orange interwoven along inside edges of bars; dyed brown weft string interwoven for 13 rows of plain weave, the end of the weft yarn is attached to a pointed stick which is notched for attached yarn at other end. Dyed blue string attached to loom bars and interwoven to lengthwise selvedges. Part b: slightly curved heddle rod of shaved beige stick tied and wrapped by warp from weaving. Part c: separate shaved beige lease stick or bobbin with angled ends and longitudinal splits. Part d: slightly curved shed stick loosely resting in warp. Part e: separate wooden stick loom bar with knotted end. Part f: lease stick with numerous pin point holes, a rounded end, split 4.5 cm. in from end, other end is burnt and beveled. Part g: bamboo lease stick or heddle rod. Part h: separate wooden batten sword with pointed, triangular ends, rounded along one length, tapering to other side. Part i: separate large dark wooden loom bar with notched ends. Parts j and k: wooden support sticks around which green and orange string is attached. Green string loops (tied and glued) hold j to loom bar farthest from weaving. Part l: separate grey/white synthetic rope, burnt at ends with single knot near one end. Parts m and n: carved light wooden shuttles with pointed ends, carved out section with pointed stick through centre, two points at other end, 'J.L.' carved near end.

A boy's plaited straw hat in a fedora style with a turned up brim and a creased crown. White plastic band stitched around the rim and a black plastic hat band with the ends crossed and having three holes: one at the cross is attached to a metal eyelet in the hat and the other two holes are 1-2 cm. from the first.

Straw hat in cowboy hat style with narrow black plastic band around base of crown and several short pieces of blue plastic band sewn halfway up the crown at intervals on the diagonal. The high crown is deeply dented at the centre and sides of the top. The wide brim curls up at the sides and is finished with white plastic sewn to the edge.

Bamboo section which has been cut above the nodes at each end; one side has been drilled with a 1cm. Wide hole through the node. Around the top and bottom edges, holes have been drilled through which strands of split cane dyed purple, green and natural colours. Strands have been woven and plaited around the bamboo in a twill weave.

A light yellow pipe in two parts: a cylindrical bowl made of a segment of bamboo and a stem of narrow bamboo pierced through the centre. The stem is slotted into a hole halfway up the pipe bowl. Several strands of blue cotton thread are wrapped around the stem of the pipe and extend to the loop around the small wooden protrusion on the base of the bowl.
