The overall shape of the basket is oval, rising from a rounded base. The bottom two-thirds are separated from the upper third by a 2.5 centimeter band of string-like bamboo strips woven in a diagonal pattern. The bottom two-thirds is woven with strips of bamboo, the upper third is woven with one centimeter bands of string-like bamboo rising to a braided two loop closure. Straps of approximately one centimeter in width and sixty centimeters in length permit this basket to be worn like a knapsack on the back. The colour is of tones of brown in a mottled effect from usage. The basket has a typed label on it 'Knapsack from Kiangan, Mountain Province'.
Bottle-like woven trap with inverted lid attached. Walls bulge out from oval base and compress into flat oval shoulder. Twined, circular neck flares slightly outwards. Inverted cone lid attached with one strand. Alternating sections of medium flat woven weft and narrow rounded twined weft. Natural light brown colour. Loose weaving to allow water in.
Tall, square-bottomed, jar-like basket. Rigid structure, square at the bottom with tall rectangular shaped body. Shoulders slope inwards to cylindrical neck which extends upwards approximately. 8 cm. Body is composed of vertical slats placed in parallel order around the structure. Slats measure 1.5 cm. in width and are placed approximately. 0.3 cm. apart. Slats are twined together at base, center and shoulders of body. They taper at shoulders and continue to lip of neck. Lip is finished with a herring bone stitch called 'iyugu'. Base is supported with rattan foot ring.
Basket (part a) of truncated conical shape with a knobbed lid (part b). Coiled body of basket overlaid with vertical strips of yellow, and brown reed. Mid-section of basket is divided into three by narrow bands of reed. The lid is light brown reed with dark brown reed incorporated in the knob at the top. Each end of the narrow leather handle has been pulled through top of basket and knotted on the inside. The basket contains a number of loose small white beads.
Tan basket made with interlocking coiled work (bifurcated stitches). Elongated watch-spring base construction, double-strand braided loop-work border, and imbrication. Total imbrication. Design consists of four horizontal rows of "half-pyramid" forms that alternate in rows in red and in black cherry bark, all against a bullrush background with two rows of red imbrication.
A plain round orange-red gourd container (part a). The cylindrical coiled stopper (part b) has a woven cover of clock-wise pointing arrows on an open work weave. The rim of the stopper is a yellow, and brown checkered pattern.

Semi-spherical hat plaited over a supporting frame of sewn palm leaves. Outer rim is of coloured split bamboo. The exterior has a geometric design that consists of four panels that each have a central three side-by-side dark and light brown diamond shape pattern to create a light brown w-line with a checker-like pattern above and a light brown zig zag line with a varied pattern below. The inner surface of palm is plaited in an open pattern. Pith knob on top of the hat is in the form of an irregular cylinder. A chain of braided bamboo is attached to opposite sides of the rim.
Cylindrical bamboo tube in two parts: top (part b) slides into the bottom (part a), not an accurate fit. The cylinder tapers towards both ends, each of which has a concave depression. A plaited loop is inserted in the centre of the top (part b) and is knotted on the interior. The design and the foot and the rim have been painted black. Geometric designs are incised on the sides. The bottom (part a) has three horizontal bands with the following patterns from top to bottom: four-lined inward pointing triangles to create a zig zag in between; inward pointing triangles that have horizontal lines within and that create a zig zags in between; and diamond shapes. The top (part b) has vertical bands of x-shapes, zig zags, and diagonal lines.
