Rectangular flared, coiled basket (bifurcated stitches). Parallel slat base construction. Most of basket is fully beaded on three sides in horizontal rows of two bands of cat-tail grass (?) staggered with a row of dark cherry bark. Last quarter of basket is plain except for one row of beaded dark cherry bark. Rim is solid line of cat-tail grass (?) with intervals of red or dark cherry bark. Fourth side has three vertical rows of parallel bands alternating in red and dark cherry bark and cat-tail grass (?). Skin ties, two on one side at corners, one on opposite side in middle.

Part (a) Rectangular coiled basket (bifurcated stitches) with rounded shoulder and flange, and a lid, part (b). Parallel slat base construction. Fully imbricated in cat-tail grass (?), with vertical rows in dark cherry bark. On long sides, two rows have diagonal stripes between lines, between these is central design of horizontal bars crossing vertical lines, with cat-tail grass (?) stitches at every junction. Same design is on short sides. Outer rim of lid continues imbrication and design on basket. Top of rim is solid row of cat-tail grass (?). Alternating rows of beaded cat-tail grass (?) and dark cherry bark.

Fully imbricated in cat-tail grass, with parallel vertical bands of connected triangles, in red, and in dark cherry bark. Fully imbricated base has four sets of parallel stripes in dark cherry bark from center to edge, one single band. Fully imbricated lid has dark cherry bark radiating lines, from center to edge.
