The design from bottom to top consists of discrete animal figures; horizontally connected diamond figures; discrete animal figures; discrete triangular figures; discrete triangular figures (closer together), all in red on bullrush background; base is imbricated in bullrush. Parts b and c are two, semi-circular cedar splints that attached to the basket with a fibre tie (part d). Colour: tan.

Imbricated pattern of three vertical 'arrow' shapes from rim to bottom of foot. Alternating outlines in red or dark cherry bark with reverse colour filled in also with cat-tail grass (?). Foot does not have cat-tail grass (?) in design.
