Top row is beaded in black cherry bark. Simple interlocking coiled work (with bifurcated stitches along sides); parallel slat base construction (with reinforced stitches at side edges); overcast rim with looped section where handles attach; flexible coiled handles; beading and imbrication.

Circular basket with flaring sides (a) and wooden mold (b); mould is sold brown wood with a knob-like handle in the centre. Ten multicoloured figurative images woven into swamp grass. Crossed cedar bark in centre of bottom.

Two narrow bands of purple near the base complete the decoration. The jar which forms the frame of the basket is glazed in dark brown (possibly a Chinese ginger jar). Colour: natural.

Spruce root basket (b) and lid (a); squat, oblong-shaped basket. Base: plain twined weaving around rectangle of plain cedar sides and top; wrapped twined weaving. Lid has a whirlpool design in orange, blue, and green centered around knob handle. Thin bands of green, yellow and green around edge of lid are repeated near base of basket. Main basket design: repeated on either side is a geometric shape resembling lightning in yellow, red, green, and blue. Warp: cedar bark. Weft: natural and dyed swamp grass (coarser grass used on base).

Oval swamp grass basket (a) with a flat, fitted lid (b). Sides: lower band of green/red/green/natural/purple. Central portion is decorated with discrete purple rectangles with yellow centers. Lid - side has same banding as lower rim of basket. Central strip of purple surrounded by purple rectangles with yellow centers. Base: plaited origin with plain twining over five warp strands. Sides: twisted twined work. Basket has slightly indented flange. Lid is twisted twined work.

Oval-shaped swamp grass basket (a) with flat, fitted lid (b). Lid: oval medallion design, concentric oval strips. Sides: long boats, with two sails and smoke stack with flag at back (in yellow, red, and purple). Colours: purple, blue, orange.

Lid: central oval in purple with orange border. "s" shape on sides. Purple diamond shape on ends. Base: one strip of cedar bark with cross stitch; plain twined work (over several warp strands). Sides and lid: twisted twined work. Indented flange on basket. Colour: yellow.

Small, cylindrical swamp grass basket (a) with lid (b). Near base of basket and on side of lid is a double row of purple. Central ribbon is black, bordered by natural row, bordered by green scallops. Similar design on lid. Lid has black circular motif in center. Base: plaited origin and plain twining over wide warp strands. Sides are twisted twined work. Slightly indented flange around upper rim of basket holds lid in place.
